Kilby-Lane grew up a Cane. He is going to FSU. We will be saying the same things about him. No Miami offer until AFTER Gators, Noles AND Saban offered... I mean six months after.

Wrong...do your research. ..we offered before Gators, Saban and noles.... only rhe Buckeyes offered before we did, like a week or so. .... But the reason we couldn't offer sooner because of our recruiting limitations cause of the Sanctions..... he even came out and said he was a little mad that the Hurricanes didn't offer him first.....

Good enough to play wr as a true freshman for FSU, but apparently not good enough to play wr for Al, ever.

Again..the staff listed him as an athlete when he did his first junior visit, cause the staff liked him at both WR/DB cause he played both at Cardinal Newman.... he got mad, decommitted and went on to pull the "I cant trust the coaches" speech..his fatherby the way is a die hard canes fan, made him apologize to the staff because he was wrong about it he did, and that was that...even though his dad wanted him at Miami, aftet that he knew it wasnt a possibility after that incident..

We whiffed on the three SoFla guys last year that could be true #1 wrs in an offense.

Unselfishly, though, good for them. Their careers won't be ruined here by one of the worst staffs in any major conference.

Lane and Rudolph yes. Dixon not a true #1.

We do have Berrios who is a stud, but we definitely should have landed 1 to 2 of those to go with Berrios.

What I heard, Dixon just wanted to get away but he really did like the Canes.

Rudolph was a **** up on our part.

And Lane is type to go to whoever is hot at the moment type of kid.

Wouldn't make a difference if he played with us....just ruin his chances at going pro a la Stacy.

Disagree....Rudolph obviously knows how to run routes and get open. Golden sucks *** but Coley plays scared is only good for a bubble screen for 3-5 yards

Sounds like some bull**** to me. It's not like we couldn't recruit anyone. He is clearly good enough to be one of the best 15 players in our class, and that would have been the smallest number even if we had gotten ****ed by the NCAA. Just another case of our staff being a bunch of knuckle dragging morons.

Again...recruiting is sales. If you know the kid wants to play WR, just ******* tell him he' a receiver and get him to sign. Why are we the only staff that gets ****ed on this stuff, ever think of that? Jimbo would have told him he could play QB, WR and Kicker all at the same time if that' what he wanted to hear.

I agree Rudolph is good - kind of like Stacy last year. But so far from what I've seen this year Yearby > Cook freshman year.

umm I'm sure alot of these posters were the same ones saying "Let him decommit we will get Ermon Lane, Mckenzie etc"...

Also we didn't lose Rudolph, FSU came off a champioship year and he committed to a team, unfortunately us too early in the process.

Actually a majority of posters were talking about how we got a steal after seeing his film. Many were actually saying he was one of, if not he best wr out of Florida in that class.

And I don't know what to categorize as a loss but your description sounds exactly like a loss to me.

I'm not mad at him he would have been Stacey Coley 2.0 catching 3 screeens.a game ruining his future

His sophomore film was really impressive and Golden really got on him early which was a real positive sign to me back then. Then he completely botched the whole thing which all seems to make more sense now.

Lol

Cook scores on yearbys run .......I'm sorry imma go with cook for this level of comp

Yearby is a better running back. He has better vision, makes better cuts and is more elusive. Cook is better in space though.

we are doing good with our WR's ...not saying we didn't need him just saying we are doing ok with what we have right now.

We might not need Rudolpg now but we will need him in two years. And note, none of the 2016 kids have signed on the dotted line yet
