I never feel comfortable before playing UVA. On paper this is a should-win by 10-14 points, but these ACC games are always weird.
You guys aren't going to like it, but I have a feeling that, far from "opening up the playbook for Perry," Richt is going to call an even more-restrained game for Perry's first big road start. I hope this at least includes some tempo and easy short passes to our athletes, but I really feel that we are going to err on the side of minimizing potential mistakes from Perry, lean on our defense a bit, and grind out a workmanlike win.
One other thing, I don't know if anyone has mentioned the post-FSU effect. Historically, losing to FSU often means the team has a hangover and drops the next game too. Fortunately, the opposite tends to hold true as well - beating FSU tends to give the team a confidence that carries it through the next few games. I can't see having won that game like that, and then coming out vs UVA the next weekend and laying an egg. It would be uncharacteristic.
