OU, off the top of my head, has plucked a grand total of 4 players from South Florida in the last 30 years. (Busta Rhymes, Davin Joseph, Torrance Marshall and Stockar McDougle) I dont count Eric Stryker as he was from Tampa. Now im sure they plucked MAYBE 1 or 2 that I might be missing in between that time but lets not act like OU has a foothold down here. It shouldnt be too difficult to flip him. All his boys are coming...(Jobe, Henderson, Frierson, etc)
Stoops said it himself that he doesnt put any resources down here because its a waste of money. He said that if a player from SoFla is seriously interested after they offer, then that player can reach out to the staff. But they dont send many scouts, if any, down here. (No I dont have the link but just trust me he said it. Google it.)
All that said, If Bandy wants to go to OU because he is that ****ed at us..good luck. Im sure he will be on the long list of SoFla recruits who go to schools like that only to transfer after two years...

Anyway, we are making my point. I highly doubt OU expects Bandy to stick if you ask Stoops to be honest. We will see how hard they recruit him moving forward and if they make him a priority.

So there's been like 5 to 10 real players from the tri-county area that went to OU over the last 15 years? That proves Jassid's point. OU isn't getting top guys from the tri-county area that UM wants.
