What evidence do we even have that Rocker was one of Richt's top guys? He didn't join the Georgia staff until Jeremy Pruitt took the DC job in 2014. They don't have a long relationship. We've heard about the division on that coaching staff.

In an article about him and his job interview Rocker mentioned that Richt wasn't a fan of Rocker and Nic Fairley's tactics(spearing) against Aaron Murray. Now he hired him anyway but he remembered what he considered the dirty play and Rocker didn't deny thats the way he taught his defensive lineman.

wow people need to calm down. richt isn't gonna recruit based on some 247 rankings or rivals and if he did he wouldn't of lasted 15 yrs at georgia winning almost 10 games a year on avg. coker tried that at the u look where that got miami

2 let richt actually hire and name his staff before u get all up in arms. he has a pretty good track record of winning in a tough league. yes he had soem questionable hires like willie martinez but he also had some hr hires. all coaches have some bad hires. even saban. lets give him a chance to hire a guy and i don't know actually sign a class on signing day and i don't know maybe coach a game before u fire him

i assume that all the people trying to get this guy or that guy are just butch davis fans who are upset he isn't head coach and same on the guys *****inga bout recruting from a guy on job for what less then 2 weeks.

Names are being scooped up. I hope its just a case of Richt having his man and not making the announcement until after the bowl.

Losing out on Rocker sucks too. He had some big name DLs in tow. Its nice to have a legitimate leader at HC but it don't mean shizz if he can't bring back the DL talent.
