TOS say Diaz trying to get Cager back

Im all for it but i think the guys that should get the most PT are: JT4, Osborn, Hightower and pope

I'm shocked to hear that Diaz likes receivers that catch the ball like they have no arms

Richt’s Offense didn’t do him any favors with his routes. Cager struggled creating separation because he ran predictable and linear routes. Perhaps, with Enos, he can find ways to get him more open?

Perhaps but I just don’t think he has as high of a ceiling as the other bigger receivers imo on our roster especially Hightower and ezzard and now Payton. He’s taking/going to take valuable reps from them who are much more dynamic

He might have dropped 15-20 balls this year alone and he don’t be getting open and play soft like he a smaller receiver majority of the times. I’ll pass... give those reps to Hightower or one of the other bigger receivers
15-20 drops? lol If he dropped the ball that much he wouldn't be qualified to play naia ball let alone D1. I think everyone remembers him dropping like 4 vs FSU it left a bad taste in their mouth. Other than that i doubt he got targeted all that much more to have a high drop count

I’m not arguing with any of that. However, if Diaz still wants him, I can’t help but wonder why.

Nope....but his unit as a whole underperformed....after JT4,Cager was the best WR production wise....I know that ain’t saying much...
No denying that. But he had so many drops and how he catches the ball it’s not clean and that’s not coaching, that’s natural ability which he doesn’t have.

On jump balls he jumps as high as he can just to let the ball hit him in the chest. Every time I saw someone highpoint the ball I always waited to FINALLY hear it was Cager. But it was usually Langham. Never Cager. Its ridiculous.
THIS! So you basically turned a 6’5 receiver into someone who is slow and 5’10 with absolutely zero wiggle

I... you people.... a red zone receiver!?!?!?

Like... are y'all kidding me??? Have you SEEN him play?

I have seen Cager properly high-point a ball ONCE, this season, against FSU, on a second try after he dropped it on the first attempt.

Dude is a 90 year old paraplegic woman in a wheelchair in a red-zone receiver's body.

Led the team in TD receptions and caught two against FSU. How does it hurt to have him there?

How many drops that ended drives did he have?

If you look at the numbers, I'd bet money he was more of a detriment than a benefit. ANYONE else at WR is a better option to get on the field. Let's not forget Cager's been on the team since what, 2015?

This is literally the Perry vs. Rosier argument.
