Torrance Gibson pushes back decision again

Best fit is Oregon, Auburn or Ohio State. That's pretty well proven I would think. Would also love to see what Mora could do with him at UCLA...he could be Hundley on steroids.

All that said, still want him here real bad.

Win the coastal and go 1 for 2 vs FSu and this kid will be in line at the Schwartz

Canes fans continue to use this excuse.

Florida proved this year it doesn't take a winning record to recruit.

-We have more talent in our backyard than they do.
-We had a better record
-We have a "players coach."

Now lets compare their January/February to ours.

Don't worry, I'll wait.

Been saying the same **** for years already, if u follow recruiting a winning record means ****. We could lose twice 2 fsu n if we have better recruiters we would clean up, problem is fsus staff has shown when they close they close no matter what even when they were losing in 2009 10. When jimbo took over they have outrecruited us by a big margin, wins n losses mean nada only relationships, family, n duffle bags. Jimbo did not become a good coach last year, he always recruited on sabans level though. Thatt alent won, and if AG recruits like that we would win too. Problem is he hasnt n I cant see it change u r who u r a 7-15 recruiting ranking guy. Jimbo n Saban Miles r top 3 at it n there teamss how it.

Sounds like a me-first type. QBs commit early in the process and recruit for their team. Oh well, wasn't expecting him in this class, and I am still not.

Kid just needs to commit to Auburn or OSU and get it over with.

LOL at people still talking about "fit" for an elite athlete. He fits anywhere.

You're not wrong. He'd certainly fit in best with better coaching at a place like Auburn.

Yep, Gibson naming Tennessee his leader contradicts everything he says about wanting to play in an offense that fits his style...Vols are going to get a taste of a troll Sofl style.

Tennessee runs a spread. Doesn't contradict that at all.

Whatever... I realize Tennessee runs a spread but they're not all the same. Even Vols are having a debate on whether or not he completely fits their style:

I guess they aren't familiar with how Butch Jones has coached historically. Google Zach Collaros rushing stats at QB on Jones. That system definitely fits him.

Just did. If Zach was a running QB his rushing stats were extremely mediocre. Marshall ran for more yards in one year than Collaros did in 4.... Also, Zach threw the ball 3x more than he ran with it.

Not saying Butch couldn't tweak his system to fit Gibson but Gus has already shown what he can do with a similar skill set- Very good runner but bad passer.

Any good coach would tweak it. The point is that he runs his QBs.
