It’s also reflective of the fact that Miami attempted 150 more passes than Florida did. Sack percentage is a better measure of pass protection because obviously, teams that rarely throw the ball aren’t going to give up many sacks.That sacks allowed stat should have a huge asterisk that just says "Cam Doing Cam Stuff"
Miami was 31 in sacks given up percentage. Florida was 58th.
To @DMoney ‘s point, Miami was 15th in 2023 with statues TVD and Emory Williams getting a majority of the snaps. Cam holding the ball for too long drastically inflated the numbers but Cam holding the ball too long also drastically inflated our big play numbers so there’s obviously a trade off.
