Too many issues to count

Can someone explain to me again what Alonzo Highsmith's role is with the program??Does he help with talent evaluation? Does he help with hiring strategies? Is Hecht supposed to look like an NFL front office?? Are we complicating the **** out of the entire system to the point that these 18-22 year olds have just given up or not bought in? There doesn't appear to be any cohesion with the players, the coaches, and the admin

GET RID OF THESE 85 BUMS EATING AND LIVING ON THE UNIVERSITY'S DIME LIKE THEY ARE CELEBRITIES OR SOMETHING. THESE 85 BUMS SHOULD BE HAULED OFF INTO COURT AND FORCED TO PAY THAT MONEY BACK TO MR. RUIZ.

***THIS IS MY STANCE ON THE 2022 MIAMI HURRICANES AND IT AIN'T A **** THING YOU CAN SAY TO CHANGE MY MIND. YOU CAN CALL ME WHATEVER THE ***C YOU WANT. BUT, SINCE I SPEND MONEY ON THIS $HITSHOW OF A PROGRAM. I CAN SAY WHAT THE ***C EVER I WANT!

Same thread we have for every head coach. How many times we gonna say we need new coordinators just one year in? Wash, rinse, repeat.
Eh - I don't think it is exactly the same as there didn't seem to be this much dysfunction. Usually it was a coach or two and not both coordinators at the same time.

And Manny did fire Enos after one year and the offense significantly improved for the next two years so there is some validity to it.

The way I understand it is that Alonzo is supposed to help identify talent and maybe help with 'front office' type duties? Regardless, he was brought on late in the process so I don't believe he had a hand in any of the kids (or coaches) on the roster.

it’s everything

Players and coaches.

the reality is that Manny was fired because anyone who remotely pays attention to football, could look at this roster and knew it was going to be in shambles moving forward.

Ppl say “last year Manny got this team to 7 wins”

While neglecting to mention that the Oline, LB, WRs, CBs, TEs, are all barren.

If not for Mario salvaging that class and hitting the portal you’d have 3 RBs on this roster…for example…

We are starting Corey Flagg at MLB and there isn’t even another option.

——

Now when I look at player/coaching arguements here’s what perplexes me…two elite 5* guys with different skill sets in James Williams and Tae Williams, yet both are frequently out of position, taking bad angles, busting coverages….

The not wrapping up is on the player…but Are they not talented enough for college or is it that coaches can’t figure out how to use them?

Do they need to be surrounded by elite CBs and LBs so that they can free lance more and not have to take on so many blockers?

James Williams we know puts in “the work” … so why is it not showing up on Saturdays?

I think they have some talent.

But I haven’t seen anything during games to suggest they can be dominate players, and sadly they often one the nearest defenders on our worst defensive plays. Not being able to “show out” vs even our most inferior opponents.

LT56 for example I see him dominating over matched. FSU entire game plan was to run counters away from him. And the few times they tried to run at home…it was a nightmare for them.

In short I just want us to win.

Cuz I’m tired of feeling like we wasting these kids careers and turning on coaches.

I understand that we're discussing 'realistic' scenarios i.e. staff changes. Just think for a moment though that if Mario wasn't Mario, if the guarantees weren't iron clad - his job performance in 1 fackin' season as head coach would be grounds AT LEAST to evaluate for termination. Is there  any measurable on-field progress to point to? His staffing decisions were managed ***-backwards (arrogantly) and his coaching philosophy smacks of mid-80's Tom Osborne (w/o the success). Dinosaur. Absolutely shocked and disappointed.

My best friend is a Noles fan and like me he’s knows a little more than the average fan schematically, not an expert , so I was asking him about their offense. First thing he said was “ lots of counters from different formations“. Which brings me to Steele. How are we aligning the way we are and getting out of our lanes knowing they run a bunch of counters? They didn’t even have to get creative. As I said on the podcast “
there’ll be a bunch of window dressing by FSU and eye discipline will be huge”. Well they didn’t even go deep in the bag , they took what they wanted smh.

Diff is that game had 4,000 people at it. This one had 60k lol
Yeah, but that wasn't the point dude was making. Saying we never looked inept under Golden is not true. I was at that game and it felt similar to last night. We need to get back to work at getting back to work so we can get back to work.

October 24th 2015. Clemson **** all over us to the tune of 58-0 with Al Golden at the helm.
It was bad, but I will stand by it wasn't this bad. The team was 4-2 at that point, had scored an average of 33 points per game up until then and Clemson went on to lose a close game to Alabama in the National Championship. Golden was also still dealing with the Shapiro nonsense.

Like I said, don't get me wrong - I was not a fan of Golden and his stubbornness with D'nofrio (among other things) meant that he was never going to succeed hear, but Mario had things setup up much better for him and the results are worse.

that's why i'm not pointing fingers at steele, this entire team knows the offense is going 3 and out.
How does Steele not get any blame? His unit quit also. I’ve seen plenty defense across CFB and the NFL have pride and go out week after week and make a stand with bad offenses.

Steele need to go as well! I’m going to beat that drum.
