Too Early predictions

Those games with an L next to them are all games we've lost for 16 consecutive seasons. And before each of those 16 seasons we've convinced ourselves that this season will be different. And DBC has never predicted us to finish worse than 10-2.

People saying we’re gonna lose to sparty confuse me. They are straight *** and they just got a new staff. And Mel tucker isn’t some wiz kid. We win that game. Our possible losses are imo to wake VT or GT. Maybe all three who knows. And that screws us for the coastal

The only part of that schedule that concerns me is the 4 game stretch between UNC and VT. Even if we split that stretch 2-2, we should end up 10-2.

Anything less and I'm completely done with the Manny experiment.

Yes, we have one Top 20 DT on the entire roster, I have no idea how we recruit interior DL so badly. I am waiting like you for Nesta to become that nasty DT that just throw guards and centers aside, we need that badly, Ford and Miller are more "anchor" types.

If Williams and Couch can cover then we are OK at CB although I see no "stars" there, they can be solid.

I'm looking forward to something positive this year, it has been too long

Bro, I get tired of watching old games on Youtube. We've got to do better man. I'm tired of being clowned by my friends, too. lol.

-We're bringing two, FOR SURE, terrors on the edge in Roche and GR15, and another guy who was touted as the #1 player in the nation coming out of high school who happens to play DE as well.
-We have capable DTs that should be much better as they've had more S&C training. One was considered the #3 DT in the entire nation coming out. -We're supposed to be upgraded with speed and raw athleticism with the LBs, along w/ bringing down a S who can play in the box or striker.
-We're bringing back 2 four star true safeties to roam the back end in Hall and Bolden.
-Our DBs are a question mark, but from all reports, we should have at least 2 of which are solidified starters/2 deep
-We're bring in a veteran QB who set the NCAA on fire his last full season and is a perfect candidate in the offensive system
-We have a new OC who just coached the #7 overall ranked offense in the nation last year to best exploit our talent
-We have the #1 and #9 ranked TEs in the nation in their respective class coming back
-We have a nice stable of running backs that were all top who ranked #7, #10, and #11 at their position in the nation in their respective classes
-We have a new OL coach who specializes in coaching OLmen in spread offenses
-We have a plethora of WRs
-Most importantly, this is a veteran team from top to bottom with the exception of a couple of OLmen who are still considered under classmen.

With this weak@$$ schedule, we better not lose more than 3 games in the regular season, and we should legit have no more than one loss in the Coastal.

Like I've been saying, there is literally no excuse for Manny to be subpar this year. If he is, he needs to be shown the door. 5 yrs here is too long for mediocrity. If he's kept longer after a subpar year, mark my words, it will be Golden 2015 all over again.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Rell. Very well said. Absolutely no excuses for Manny. The talent is there to win 10 games with that schedule. 2020 will tell me everything I need to know about Manny -- everything that I don't already know.

Yikes lol. Don't think UNC puts up any less than 20 points against us, 55 points against Duke? and no way that VT game is that low scoring. But yes I do think we go 12-0....

We go 7-5 with that schedule with last years team.
This year we have a QB, a proven OC and a kicker.
That's got to be worth 2 or 3 wins.

9-3 with losses against Wake, UNC and VaTech. Anything less is a major disappointment. The schedule is pretty darn attractive for us. Hoping D'Eriq comes in and has a magical run. OL play & the play of our younger LBs will probably be the swing factors (as I'm confident Mr. King will do his thing).

Hoping the team will go into each game refusing to lose. Go Canes!

VT and GT could be an issue. We’ll see where everyone stands at that point in the season. A very long way off.
Allow me to **** on the hate Manny group. We have a legit quarterback. We have a legit defense. We have a legit kicker. We have weapons on offense and an OC that will utilize them properly. It’s going to be a great season. We’ll Have some tough games. If we don’t trip over a Temple or UNC, it’s off to the races. Those are the two early games that make me uncomfortable and will set the table for greatness or disaster. MSU is trash and this years Wake won’t be as good as the last one. The haters should fear Manny having a 2017 season and another great recruiting class. He’ll win now I think. It’s only going to get better for recruiting. Soon you’ll all be attacking him for not winning the big one. 🤞 I’ve seen this movie before and I know how it ends. There is a new Miami and I think we’re going to love it.
