Tommy Kennedy

I know he is not working out, but at least get the narrative right - 2nd team all Conference. I know it is a weak conference, I get it, but get the narrative right guys. Bad look.

There were 5 guys from that conference on NFL rosters in 2017.

Yes, anyone worth a **** should be 1st team easily and that should have been a question mark. That said, OU and Auburn were both in on this guy....and both of those schools have had much better olines of late. It just shows how desperate we were/are at the tackle position to take a flyer on this guy. I admit, i had much higher hopes for him coming in......at least he had good feet. Many of our olinemen struggle to move in space.

He's an honorable mention all-conference offensive lineman from Butler...which means he's - at best - the 16th best OL in whatever conference he came from. What did you expect?
Except those conference awards are often terrible.

you know that’s not an official depth chart right? Manny and the staff never put out one when they do Kennedy isn’t going to be on it.

So what's your hard-on for the kid? You gonna go through the entire roster and give us an assessment of every kid? You act like someone ask you to pay for him to come here?
Psssst...I've got some news for you our OL room is suspect at best so taking a chance on a kid that many though would be productive isn't a stretch.

We know the staff is rotating guys to see what we have. What knowledge, over everyone else, do you have that he’s not in the mix to be running second team? I get it, he disappointed everyone by not being a competent Left Tackle, but that has little to do with him being able to be a backup guard. Our depth sucks, the bar isn’t very high to fill that role

This is all facts... which makes you wonder how bad Kennedy actually must be tthat the coaches will try out anybody else but him on the depth chart smh

Whatever happened to him? Seems like I haven't even seen him in line to compete for a starting job or even be a key backup. Is he hurt or has he just really not adjusted to Power 5 football?
I apologize I don’t remember the poster who analyzes OLine play so I’m not giving him the credit he deserves but after Kennedy transferred he went back and watched all of the game film he could find from the past year and I recall him consistently pointing out solid technique but also several plays every game where he was straight taken out of the play by bigger D Lineman, even against underachieving units at the FCS level. I think highly of the guy’s commentary and felt that there was writing on the wall to be found in his breakdown.

Edit: Grammar
