He's still quite good, but his greatness is waning a bit.
His Completion Percentage Above Expectations over the past few years / and Aggressiveness%. He's a less accurate QB today and he's also less aggressive than he used to be and 2019 was a bit messy.
2016 - +2.7 / 17.6
2017 - +1.5 / 17
2018 - -1.2 / 13.9
2019 - -3.1 / 15.2
The 2019 CPAE number is concerning considering the trend. That number was down there with Eli Manning, Josh Allen, Andy Dalton. Not great. He also had more time in the pocket than in any of the previous three years (2.75s). source, btw

Also, while I would agree, that Tom Brady is historically a great downfield passer, ProFootballOutsiders paint a different picture of him as a deep ball passer of late Article is slightly dated, and not updated with 2019 numbers, but its a nice contrast to your article which was posted during the same offseason.
Guest columnist John Kinsley reviewed every quarterback's deep passes from last season and found Andrew Luck at the top of the heap. Who else were the best (and worst) deep-ball throwers in 2018, and whose results changed the most from 2017?

He's the GOAT, better than Jameis right now, but its fair to question what he's going to give you, he's clearly got some diminishing skills. This isn't a hot take...he'll be 43 years old to start the season.
