Tom Brady is leaving New England

Yup. And it absolutely, 1000000% was and is. Belichick is the greatest coach in football history at any level, and probably only rivals John Wooden for the greatest coach of all-time in any sport.

Tom Brady WAS an above average QB, and never even sniffed being anything close to some generational talent. Today, he's more Tom Savage than Tom Brady. Belichick will be more than fine. Brady will go 6-10 in Tampa and retire.

LOL

He has the second most passing yards of all time. He has the most passing touchdowns of all time. He has 6 Super Bowls. Most career wins. He won three mvps. Four super bowl mvps.

All done under Bill Belichick, the greatest coach who ever was.

Tom Brady is the luckiest and most overrated athlete in the history of sport.

Can't deny his success. Much different time, obviously, but 10 nattys in 12 years, regardless of historical time period, is GOAT status.

Maybe throw Red Auerbach in there too.

But modern era, Belichick is the absolute GOAT and it's not even close. He'll be just as successful without Brady as he was with him.

Wooden had the biggest talent advantage in sports history , the UCLA jv teams were the only team that could beat his squad.

How many Sb’s does BB have as a hc without Brady ? Last time I checked that Cleveland run didn’t end well. And that’s when Cleveland was a good franchise.

Bb is a great hc but to call Brady overrated is insane , they needed each other. Tom was as clutch as any player you’ll see and smart as ****.

I agree about not being the goat , but that’s because the goat obsession these days is retarded. There’s no way to justify who’s the greatest , different eras and different circumstances.

So did Jerry Tarkanian, Guy Lewis, & Steve Fisher, how many Natties do they have between em'?

Nowhere in the same stratosphere’s. You have no clue.

If there was a recruiting ranking then he’d had the entire top ten lol. Then have the next 5-10 on their jv squad.

Watch a documentary or read up on those teams. It was ridiculous. Saban doesn’t come close to that stacked of rosters.

Ucla was also filthy as you could get , they were buying mofos back then , they had some huge contractor buying all their recruits.

Okay so according to your logic, the only reason Emmitt Smith is the leading rusher in NFL history is because Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson. The only reason Jerry Rice has the most receiving yards in NFL history is because of Walsh and seifert.

Oh I know, Sam Gilbert is the Godfather of the bag game. But Phi Slamma Jamma & The Fab Five would've ran Wooden's teams off the court.

People always talk the pats went 11-5 without Brady but leave out the historically easy schedule that year and they missed the playoffs. I’m not even a Brady guy but people always leave that out.

One of the most scorching hot takes of all time.

Brady was a great QB for a long time. No doubt. But he’s talked about like he’s the greatest athlete of all-time, and it’s downright comical. Without Belichick and the indescribable luck the Pats have benefited from, Brady is basically Philip Rivers.
