No, but it's weird to say that you're "not going down without a fight" when you're not actually in "the fight"

If you take things literally, I suppose so. But I find it strange that as a fan I should have to explain to supposedly another fan when we talk about a team we root for we use "we" as if identifying ourselves with them, or experience losses and defeats as if they are our own.

I find this very common and not weird at all.

Supposedly our O sucked against the scout team this past week. Not surprised

Maybe that's a good thing since coach said we looked good in practice before our embarrassing losses.

Half the team isn’t playing. All the guys already who quit plus Brevin is out. Add in the OC is fired and we will lose by 20. Whatever. This season is **** and I’m ready for it to be over.
