To put things in perspective.

You all are over blowing these loses. The team quit on him cause they knew they didn’t have a chance because their qb sucks. Did you watch the game? The guy couldn’t throw 5 yards.

Yea some of that’s on Mario, but let’s not act like if they had at least an average qb who wasn’t injured the score wouldn’t have been different.
He should have had a viable backup. Running him out there for the 2nd half made me question his coaching AND recruiting.

Going from Blake james and Manny Diaz to potentially Dan Radakovich and Mario Cristobal

Thats essentially like being on the streets for 8 years eating garbage and scraps to being promptly escorted to the finest 5 star restaurant in the city on the house.

We want to win titles every year, but thats not where Miami is at. We need to give the country and every future prospect that will contribute to Miami's vision of the perception that we are on track to be yearly contenders....flaws in Mario be damned, these 2 moves would be the beginning for what we need right now.

Hypothetically. What if Radakovich could bring Dabo? Would you take him? His buyout is only 3 million this year. Would that be a home run hire? **** yes it would be the biggest coup of all time.

There is no perfect hire.

But what you can do is put everything around a guy and give him his best chance to succeed.

At the highest level of CFB it’s Jimmy and Joes with just enough X’s and O’s anyways.

The best coaches start with the best ingredients.

And I like Lane Kiffin but “Lane kiffin” is an idea.

No other major program has touched him this cycle, now you can say “he’s holding out for Miami”…but Miami hasn’t even kicked the tires….so there is clearly more there than what his biggest supports want to admit.

Manny's team never quit on him. They played hard for him right up until the end. And the negativity surrounding him and the program for the last 8 weeks was palpable.

There is NO circumstance where a team quits on its coach that should be easily dismissed.

No one is turning down Dabo.

Cristobal is still getting past that one game he should win but loses. Utah is just a better team this year. They could play 100 times and the results would be the same. Put him in the ACC and worst case, Miami is getting to the ACCCG.

I do think Kiffin would be successful too. He’s a **** of a Plan B. I really hope they can get Highsmith in. I don’t know if that’s really in the works or not, but I hope so.

Quite frankly...............it can't be a home run AD hire if the only options are Manny vs Mario. No AD that good puts themselves in that type of box.
Dude can read the internet as well as we can, so I’m guessing he will have asked about the plan and if they were he’ll bent on Mario. Therefore, I assume that either they aren’t or he’s cool with it. Either way, maybe we can avoid second guessing the guy until he actually sits down at his desk.

The timing is off though, he's looking bruised and battered.
Of course he looks that way. His mother is gravely ill, he’s flying from opposite ends of the country for a few hours, and he’s in active negotiations with UM while trying to dispel rumors. And all this has been going on while he’s preparing for the PAC-12 championship game. It’s a lot.

Say it louder for the make-a-wish Saban or bust Miami “fans” in the back

Oh, for sure. He's likely spiraling when he should be thrilled with the possibility of a pay increase here or there, etc. The mom news is front and center for sure though.

2021 Oregon vs the UTEs reminds me of Manny vs Mack - that being said I'm still pretty excited the Blake/Manny era is over and will support CMC until he gives me reason not to...

But who cares what we think anyway... we aren't cutting his paychecks.

“Mario isn’t the guy” “Mario is west coast Manny” “Mario is 61-50” “Mario wouldn’t get it done here, #Lanetrain”

First off let’s just say that it’s Mario or bust.

Do y’all hear how y’all sound? It’s okay to be somewhat of a septic with Cristobal. But some of you guys have gone so far in the Mario hate rabbit hole that you’re either justifying keeping Manny or you’re sounding too entitled. Let me put things into context. For a sec, forget about Mario the former UM player, Alumni and Coach. Give me football related reasons why Mario should leave Oregon to coach at the U?…. Exactly you cannot think of any outside of maybe Van Dyke. Everyone knows this. UM isn’t some hot tier 1 school, we’re barely relevant outside of what we did 20+ years ago. The entire reasoning for Mario leaving all that he built in Oregon and that easy *** conference is literally based on an emotional attachment to this school and program. Mario wasn’t fired by Oregon like Richt with UGA. He isn’t some former player on the hot seat trying to save his *** by leaving for UM. Mario was offered an extension by Oregon this week, they clearly want to keep him. Oregon fans clearly don’t want him to go. Oregon football program doesn’t want him to go, Phil knight doesn’t want him to go. Had he not have an attachment to this school and city, he wouldn’t have entertained us or given us a thought. Like bruh, he’s doing us the favor. I know many of you want Lane but clearly the decision makers aren’t enamored with Lane. There isn’t much of a better option than Cristobal from what’s left. USC got their guy. LSU got their guy. UF got their guy. If it’s truly Mario or Manny. Why on Gods green earth are you already declaring the move for Cristobal a failure for the program? If Cristobal is THEIR guy than he’s THE guy.
You’re absolutely correct.

The best part, though—I don’t give two ***** what “they” want; their little #LaneTrain nonsense and hyping that smoke and mirrors climber.

The irrational manner in which they trash Cristobal while praising Lane’s mediocrity— it’s as pathetic as Manny’s defense.

Miami is on the brink of having a first class AD and right-fit, on-brand proven coach.

If half this fan base wants to remain miserable twits, clamoring for “their guy” instead of celebrating the moves Miami is making—let ‘em rot.

Dabo is like a God at Clemson, no way he leaves but if he does, he’ll probably go to OU over us.
