Tirek Austin-Cave at Striker?

Why force the striker position?? We have numbers at LB now and there is no athlete that fits that position like Finley. Maybe Carter or Harrell but moving those guys just makes us weak at Safety...

But, this is coach Baker we're dealing with sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would not be surprised if upperclassmen start, similar to Patchan vs Rousseau. Do hope they have solid play next season, though.
 
We should scrap the striker as we use it. FSU under jimbo used the “star” well letting off the charts athletes loose on teams. We just use ****tier versions of a safety

The problem with the striker position is guys have went through this program that would excel at the role. They aren’t here anymore and those athletes don’t go to Miami anymore.

Sean Taylor could play Striker. Antrel Rolle could play striker (the Giants used him as their nickelback for multiple season).

Slow oversized safeties and failed cornerbacks isn’t a plan for a position. The striker position is just a catch all for recruiting and evaluation failures.
