Time To Start #2 over #23 at RB

There were some holes today off tackle that it seemed like took Cam a minute to get to and through and by the time he got there the hole was closed. He seems to be like Boldin playing to not get hurt.He runs right at people and goes down with very little contact.
Chaney seems to be much quicker through the hole and tries and gets that extra couple yds after contact that are big in this running game.
Knighton to me though seems to be the best in the screen game and between the two of him and Chaney we will be fine if Cam leaves.

Our running plays are terrible. Its always between the guard and center. No ingenuity at all.
Lash’s offense is built off of the inside zone. That’s why we’ve had so many explosive plays this year - the LBs get sucked up near the LOS which creates blown assignments and easy throws. Cam and Rooster missed multiple holes today. They also can’t run through arm tackles to save their lives.

chaney looks like the best long term prospect by far but he's had trouble staying healthy all season and is still very inexperienced. people on this board are obsessed with putting guys who have barely played in their careers right into the starting line up.

cam has actually had two pretty good bounce back games after that horrible stretch starting with clemson. he was making some nice jump cuts today to find some holes bouncing runs outside and he kept the chains moving. i would be in no rush to take him out of the starting line up. cam was 14-63-1 today w/ a long of 15 yards, chaney was 8-25 with a long of 9 yards. it's very clear who was the better back. pump the brakes and let chaney develop a bit, throwing freshmen into the starting line up is not the solution to every problem.

Chaney makes the decision to go North South and sticks with it. He breaks tackles and he ends runs hard.

Harris wants to get 4 yards downfield before he is touched and is brought down easy by comparison.

Knighton is all over the map thus far but he’s got plenty of time to learn.
