Time To Start #2 over #23 at RB

Chaney looks like the best of the 3 recently. Knighton looks like he needs to gain a little muscle, he consistently goes down at first contact.
I said this & I agree! U can see plays where if Rooster was a Lil strong he would break the tackle & get some big time runs or house calls! Watch the difference next year when he’s had a yr in the weight room. Chaney is the best back & most talented though

Chaney looks better but Cam keeps on putting up better numbers. Keep playing all three and ride the hot hand. Nobody has separated themselves yet.
Nobody separating themselves by running behind this line. 4 has the most juice and best pass catcher. Chaney put a foot in the ground and goes. Harris is just steady. U keep playing all 3

Chaney is our best back. He's a punishing runner and doesn't go down when someone touches him like Cam lately. Knighton has a ton to offer but like Chaney he is just a freshman. I hate to say it like this but Chaney and Knighton are much better prospects than Cam. I get the feeling that Cam is playing hurt. He just seems like a different player lately. Lacks explosivness.

I’m tired of not having an elite rb on the roster. This is UM. We should have someone back there every season who’s capable of blowing games wide the f*ck open.

I don't want to sound like Tom Brown, but the edge blocking and perimeter blocking isn't exactly always great. I wouldn't call it loafing, but some of the guys appear not to always give the fullest effort if they are not the primary playmaker. I would like to see Cam improve, although I haven't seen enough of the other 2 to know who is lagging the most (if at all); but I have a feeling the coaches know (at least they should and in the absence of a single elite breakaway standout star, maybe they assign PT accordingly.)

The youngsters have more natural talent and will be great here, but Harris still leads them in yards per carry.
Run blocking and play call needs to get better but no reason to change the depth chart yet.
Just keep giving all three carries.

Best back. Needs to be left in the game longer and have a feel of the game. We switching backs too frequently in a game. Needs to be featured.

When Cam hits the hole hard he's much more effective. On his td run yesterday there was no hesitation and he looked explosive. There were other times though he hesitated in the backfield and he went down with little or no gain. I don't think his strength is lateral quickness. He needs to to just blast through where he supposed to go.

I'm seeing better vision and harder runs from Chaney ... i was holding off in saying this...but it should be done
Long as our Oline can’t run block , nobody is going to look great , I think all 3 guys are capable of being our starting RB but our Oline gets no push at all , especially the interior, they had number 25 from VT looking like a first round pick.

Watching ND's runningback ****es me off. Dude is out there breaking all kinds of arm tackles and getting to their 2nd level with ease. #23 isnt the same caliber of back as their starting rb. Hopefully #2 becomes that. Definitely has the potential.
If cam played behind Notre Dame massive o line trust me he would be All ACC

No offense but i trust myself more than i trust you. And my eyes tell me Cam doesnt have that IT factor. He doesnt hit the hole in full gear so his momentum isnt at full go. He gets wrapped up way too easy. He's not a shifty back but tries to be way too much for my liking.

I like what I see from Chaney but he does seem to need more conditioning. I’ve noticed after 2-3 carriers he’s wiped out and can’t even get his legs under him.

I like Cam, but bro... He looks like he's in slow motion the last few weeks. I swear from the time he gets the handoff to the time he reaches the LOS I could go grab a beer and make it back to my couch without missing the play. I know he rolled up on his ankle vs UL and perhaps that's what it is, but he's been very ordinary since that game. What's worse is that he isn't really running with power and his balance has been trash too. There were a few plays yesterday where he just fell down with minimal contact.

The difference when Chaney comes in is night and day. He's quick through the hole and almost always gets another 2-3 yards after contact. Rooster looks fine, but he needs to be used more on stretch plays where he can use his speed to the edge, or get him in space with a screen.
