Time to raid LSU

No. 14 Safety in 2018, Nabab Joseph, Trusts the Process and Remains Attached to LSU - Lsu - Scout

"At the end of the day, coach Miles is a very, very cool person and coach that I have much love and respect for," Joseph told Scout. "But at the end of the day, I am committed to the Tigers."

"With that being said, I will not be de-committing from the Tigers at this moment. We still have coaches in place there that I am very comfortable with."

Kid doesn't realize that the next coach that comes in is likely bringing their own staff.

I think we'll flip him eventually, he's just saying all the right things right now.

Do we need to flip him? It's loaded down here

Tommy Moffit was only at Miami for a little over a year.

If I'm looking at LSU kids, give me Smith (WR uncommitted) and linemen!

Their DB coach is probably a very likely holdover for their next staff.

They'll most likely keep Raymond. Good coach, monster recruiter.

For what??? Dont need him here.. i trust Rumph will get it done and our corners are playing good ball right now

Surtain is definitely a take. Until our cupboards are running over. We should not be cooling off on top flight DB's. Not counting on any kids that aren't currently committed to the U.

Only thing about Raymond is LSU fans hate him. They say he is a horrible coach and that outweighs his recruiting ability. So that's certainly a cause for concern. But end of the day, give me him and his recruiting ability, I'll take my chances with the rest.

Agreed. No way Corey Raymond is allowed to leave LSU. Alumni and one of best DB coaches in college - both as recruiter and on position coach. Depending on what HC comes in, decent shots to keep Orgeron and Aranda as well. Aranda has a guaranteed contract and respected as a top DC. If Jimbo comes in he won't bring the FSU DC so could keep him. Though is Herman comes he probably would want to bring Todd Orlando in as DC (unless Orlando gets promoted as HC at Houston). And given how good a recruiter Orgeron is, most coaches would want to keep him around unless have someone else really good already on board.
