Time to go to the bullpen.....

QB- flat out sucks- QBR 12.8:2h3mpi1:
O-line-can’t run block or pick up blitz
WR/TE- QB flat out sucks, again QBR 12.8:youre-nuts:
RB- O-line can’t run block and where’s Homer?

D-line- no communication
LB- never saw them, I think they run straight for the sidelines every play. Only four solo tackles for the entire unit on 76 plays.
CB-Dean needs to take a seat
S-make majority of the tackles

P-is consistently terrible.
Special team- WTF

This team better turn around real fast or we’re in for a long season. LSU offense was nothing special with less than 300 yards total. 3-16 on third downs, worst than Miami, and 3.8 ypc on 41 rushing attempts. I don’t credit LSU as Miami was their own worst enemy, again. We lack discipline and football IQ. That falls on the coaching staff! Time to hire a true OC and fast. Defensively Manny Diaz needs to calm down and play a bit more conservative. I’m all for aggressive D some discipline in sorely needed.

Rosier is too inaccurate to be a college QB. I think he has a nice personality it time for him to use it. For you fans mad at Malik, Perry deserves the same attention. Hand picked by Richt, he has failed this team by not challenging a guy who can’t throw but got himself suspended for this game. Time for Perry to step up or exit left. If Perry doesn’t step up then Willams needs to get first reps this week. I have no idea why Weldon didn’t get a series last night. Not taking QB this cycle needs to be reconsidered.

Most disappointing player/unit in order

Rosier
Special teams/Feagles
LB
O-line
Knowles
Gray
Dean
Joe Jackson
Homer
Richards

If we play like this in two weeks Toledo will beat us.

I hope this is a wake up call for the team but my hopes are fading fast. I laughed at Michigan and Tennessee on Saturday yet here we are.

I'll say this again, take a look at this roster and you'll see a bunch of guys get drafted and play at the next level. I give Richt and Co credit - they have upgraded the roster fairly quickly( and no, there is still some areas to address like Oline certainly) but the problem in my view, is that the QB has absolutely no chance of playing at the next level because his play is so bad it brings down other areas of the team

There are QB's that can literally uplift a mediocre supporting cast(Aaron Rodgers for instance, Tom Brady), the problem isn't that Rosier isn't those two guys the issue is that he's the absolute antithesis of them.

But in terms of the staff(and I hate being the coach blamer, because it's not always about the jockey but the horses) but Searles, Diaz and Hartley are very much under scrutiny as far as Im concerned

Many coaches would take this UM squad in a heartbeat even with it's defiencies - save for QB

I really don’t care if a bunch of players play on Sunday. I’m a Canes fan and I want them to win on Saturdays.

K9, so who do you put in?

1) the kid who doesn’t take classroom or film room study seriously and can’t read a defense?

2) the kid who is an ok player and who likes to party ?

3) the true freshman

4) rosier

Tough call.

If true, why did the Canes ever recruit #1 & #2?

well, you could argue having Rosier was a large part of that. LSU was the superior team last night, no doubt. but you'd have to be deaf dumb and blind to think that he isn't a huge liability. His last 4 games have been among the worst stretches ever for a Miami quarterback

He's becoming unwatchable

Rosier was Kirby-esque.

If Miami rolled the ball out for all three of the young guns to fight for, season be demanded, I’d say ‘go for it’.

That Hartley special teams gaffe was deplorable and you're being nice K9 you and I know we as fans deserve better. Hartley must be removed from ST.

Yeah, but in both cases the red made a bad call. The punter was not run into, he landed on the rusher. And the ‘leaping the sheild’ call on Rosseau was a joke.

That said, just watch for the fake. Which even Ed O isn’t gonna do in that circumstance.

The party guys have 2 of the last 5 heisman trophies, just sayin

I agree with all of this. If the young horses can run, dont let them just stand around in the stable

Why jump on Baxa so early? He nailed his first FG, and his second, a miss, was tipped. He wasn’t why we lost the game.

Which is the same bull chit Golden pulled w Tracy Howard when he voiced frustration. Would Richt allow an Ed Reed to approach the team like he did against FSU? If Richards calls out Rosier, let him, b/c Richt sure isn’t!

Maybe the team needs a revolt.

I agree he just missed one on a call that Richt shouldn’t have made in the 1st place.

Baxa needs to get some work in on Punts as well fck it, I’m sure he knows how to do it.

For all the Saban-pulled-the-starter-in-the-NC-game talk, remember:

Tua was one of the top QBs out of high school. I think he was an early entrant as well.
Tua played well in garbage time prior to the NC game. Alabama blew out their cupcakes early and gave Tau plenty of real game practice.
Alabama defense dominated UGA the second half. UGA got a fluke 80-yard TD pass but otherwise could hardly move the ball. Smart ’corching’ didn’t help UGAs cause.

And lastly, Saban had nothing to lose. Bama was already down 13-0 at the half, couldn’t run the ball, and had no momentum. Saban figured he going to lose anyway. Tau had already shown he could play. Might as well roll the dice and see what happens. Tua played great, and Saban won another NC.

This is not a defense of Richt neglent misuse of QBs. Just pointing out the difference in circumstances.

Anyone who watched the Spring Game could tell you that Malik Rosier was the worst quarterback there. Why Mark Richt is so stubborn in sticking with him is a mystery to me.

In my opinion, N'Kosi Perry was the best Spring Game quarterback. Others think it was Jarren Williams. We didn't get to see Cade. Either way, we have options, and not giving the talented underclassmen a shot at the job is criminal, IMO

There is no future with Rosier, sorry but if I was an offensive player, I wouldn't want to play with him as our QB. I dont know if it showed on TV but there was obvious frustration from our WR's after certain plays and now the word is Richards was shelved for getting on him. We were all wondering what happened with him at the game
Applaud AR if he did that. Shows he gives a ****.

Pulling the starter after losing to a better team? Sounds insane to me

Yeah , 8 games of 40’s completion percentage isn’t enough. It was just LSU , an LSU team that’ll lose 3-4 games easy.

Dude is trash , and you’re a bigger piece of trash to post this. You must be a stinking troll.

Yeah, ABR - anybody but Rosier

BTW, I heard from a lot of fans that if Rosier keeps playing, they aint staying or going to games. Rosier is bad for business...
Rosier’s got two problems as far as playing QB goes. 1) He’s not good at deciding who to throw the ball to in live action, and 2) he’s not good at throwing the ball to whoever he decides to throw to.

Not baxas fault we recruited a kid with 10 kicks attempted in hs and made 4. And said “ now go kick in front of 100k”.

Another brilliant move .
