herb ran a 4.7, so yea not paying too much attention to forty time

Not trying to be funny but all Herb has been is a role player... I don't think it's a good example... He hasn't done much as of yet... That being said, I get your point... A 40 isn't everything...

Dont want to turn this into a morris thread so all im going to say is herb would have had a breakout year if morris didnt have tunnel vision

Okay I guess we'll see... I'm not saying he sucks... I just think he's no more than a role player... Outside a few passes he doesn't really get separation... I mean he was virtually our 4th best wideout behind Hurns, Dorsett and Coley... His pt would have been less if Scott and Dorsett wasn't hurt as well...

The kid can ball, and would have found the field without those injuries, he just doesnt get noticed bcs morris couldnt read the field to save his life, but lets not jack the thread for this we will see next year

Im sorry but saying he was our 4th best wr kind of is worst then how you make it seem. Hurns was a stud, Dorsett has legit NFL deep threat ability that scares defenses to death, Coley............. is a ******* monster and Scott honestly looks like an NFL wr and can play like a top 3 round pick if he tries. We're loaded but Morris ****ed everybody up all season long so lets not knock Herb because he is a very good player

I'm knocking Herb just saying he hasn't done anything of note... All the players you named produce solid years in the past except him... As of now he's a role player... Can't blame Morris for Herb's lack if production when it didn't hurt Hurns, Coley, Scott, Dorsett or Walford... We can even go back to 2012 and say Davon Johnson put up better numbers...

Hurns had numbers bcs he was the only guy morris threw too

Ed Reed ran a 4.57 at the combine...4.6 isn't bad for a high school safety.

Ed Reed is arguably the greatest Safety to ever play the game. He can run whatever he wants.

Well that's my point. You don't have to run the fastest 40 time to be a great Safety.

13 of the top-15 Safety NFL prospects run between 4.55 and 4.65:

Good point. Maybe someday JJ's name will be mentioned with the greats. For now he's going to need a lot more than a similar 40 time.

I hope he signs with the U. I think he can be great.

What about in 2012 where the yards were spread out among different wideouts... Dorsett, Scott, Walford and even DJ all found success... As of now we are over-hyping Herb... He hasn't done anything of note... And it's not Morris' fault...

Cats in here still talking about this dudes forty time?!

Any question you have of his game speed will be answered by his film. Someone post his video for those who want to know if this kid can play at UM...

watch the games, i can tell you herb gets open a lot and morris doesnt see him, go watch the replays and watch herb

Canes since birth, we'll see what happens this year... I think our fanbase is over-hyping the kid... There's no way he gets opens all the time but is overlooked... Within the past 2 years, Hurns, Coley, Dorsett, Scott, Walford, and Davon J were all able to get open and put up solid numbers... Herb has not consistently... We'll see what happens this year but right now he'll be our 3rd wideout at best and our 4th to 5th option on offense... You can't blame the qb when 6-7 wrs found success except for 1... Herb needs to step up and he hasn't as of now...

He only starts but yea he's definitely a role player.. Ur phucking Dumb a$$ herb is a stud

Is that necessary? Just because you dont have any point to refute, doesnt mean you have to resort to insults... So starters can't be role players? What is his production... And who will he start over? Dorsett? Scott? Coley? Right now the kid is our 4th best wide out... I like him but I'm calling it as I see it... The kid has done little to note except a reverse against FAU and a few off-side td passes that Morris found him on... Stud is being too generous... He's solid as of now... Studs are Coley and Dorsett... Good players are like Scott... While Herb fits the solid category... Now if he bust out this year, I'll be happy and say I was wrong like I did about Dallas Crawford...
