He ran a 4.6 the kid has alot of bad weight on him once he loses that and get a little more flexible he should be good plus hes a safety he don't need to run a 4.3...

Kid is a player, needs to be a part of this class. We need him and J. Johnson to commit soon and start working on the other local kids.

The kid's last name is Irvin and he's not the first ******* commit? Kid should have held a press conference on his mother's labia after he was ejaculated from Playmaker's brother's balls. As active as #47 is as an alum you don't think it's odd he is slow playing us? Get this ******* staff out my face.

I talk to a few members of this family and know Tim pretty well and can tell you that Miami is very high with Tim and his parents and he wants to make sure he makes the best decision for him. This has nothing to do with the staff because every chance they get they are going to his school or trying to get him on campus. It's just the way the recruiting process is and when you have 30 plus schools coming at you it can be a bit overwhelming. He wanted to originally wait until the Army game to announce but I have heard he may commit a little earlier. If he doesn't end up a Cane I will be very surprised but would not be surprised if he was part of a "package" to a school with another kid and some others.

Yea Tim Irvin runs a 4.6 forty and he ain't even hit college or went through UTough yet....kid will be a legit 4.4 when its all said and done....and Quan ran a 5.0?? Hard to believe that...he definitely has football speed and good instincts..I guarantee u no coach is gonna stop recruiting him

**** tim is faster than half of the nfl safeties. Kenny vaccaro from texas ran a 4.67 at and was a 1st round pick for the saints last year.

Don't kid yourself Chris yandle, it takes a special kind of ***.ot to **** up the recruitment of Playmaker's lawn crew, let alone his nephew. Staff is ******* suspect. Nobody wants to play for Tony Robbins' insulin challenged retarded cousin and his backflipping monkey D coordinator.

I went to the NFTC, after seeing Tim Irvin and Jaquan Johnson. this will be by far the best safety dual in along time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASOR6m9KWXg ( Teammates at Richmond) Quan #4 Tim #2

Cool video. When is this from and any other notables in that game?

  • Ran a 4.62 40 and a 4.21 shuttle at the recent NFTC held at American Heritage
  • Notable claimed offers: Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio St., LSU, Alabama, Clemson, USCw
  • Says Miami is coming after him real, real hard
  • Says Golden is a good guy and they talk almost everyday
  • Says Miami is showing him the most attention
  • Says the attention means a lot to him and his family that the hometown school is after him hard
  • Says the coaches tell him he can be the Duke Johnson of this class
  • Says they tell him he can be a good safety and help the defense
  • Says the players tell him there is no place like Miami and it's great to play for your hometown
  • On Miami: Says it's the hometown...says he likes the environment and the atmosphere...says the coaches are real cool
  • Clemson and USCw recently offered and both schools want him to visit this summer
  • Planning on visits over the summer
  • Says he's looking at the environment, the culture, and the weather
  • Says he plans on taking his time with his decision, after he takes his summer visits then he'll see

Not impressive numbers at all. But the kid can sure play.

Sammy Watkins ran a 4.21 shuttle at the combine, and it impressed the **** out of everyone.

He's not Berrios quick, but then again, only a handful of athletes in the past decade are that quick.

Don't get caught up in 40 times.
Dismissing 16 year old kids because they don't run 4.4 is very naive. Artie Burns ran a 4.5 40 time and nobody is saying he's a slow corner.
His 4.6 means he's a fraction slower than Ha Ha Clinton Dix's 4.5 at the combine, and Irvin is nowhere near his peak physical development.

Remember, these kids aren't trying to make it in the NFL, they are 16-17 year old kids.

Well, since you are in close down in CG, get the kid a small packet of offers, say six, and tell him to attach whoever he wants to his. Heck, we have losers every class so why not let him pick a couple.
