I feel confident that Hartley will get the job done . . . the way Richt Wants The Job Done. Actually, I feel confident that all his coaches/coordinators will get the job done. And unless and until I see evidence to the contrary (on the field in real games) my confidence
won't wane.
But, I get the concern. We've been waiting for a decade and a half for this Juggernaut to dominate major college football again. I'm there too. I've just decided that a guy who averaged 10 wins a year in the SEC over a 15 year period knows a lot more about putting together a winning team and staff than me or anyone on this forum. With all due respect, of course.
Quite frankly, Richt could hire f-ing Pinocchio and I'd be fine with it, because I would know he had a very good reason for making the hire. So, maybe it's time to just sit back and relax in the knowledge that . . . all is well at TheU!
For those of you that just can't help second guessing one of the best coaches in college football for the last decade and a half, maybe an ego check is in order. Or . . . could it be, your a worthless gator/nole troll.
Now, back to my Cigar!
You're a very trusting man. I'm not. Been following Canes football far too long to give the guys in charge any benefit of the doubt
Maybe an ego check is in order.
1) Richt has more football knowledge in his little finger than you could ever hope for, other wise you wouldn't be trolling this forum you'd be coaching.
2) Since you felt it necessary to qualify your Fan Prowess, I'll qualify mine. My family and friends have been involve with this university since it's beginning. Including the founding family. My family and friends have their names on the Ring of Honor. My family and friends have been Hall of Fame players at TheU and have gone on to play, in most case, long NFL careers.
Sorry to throw all this at you son. But, you felt the need to qualify your Fan Prowess. So, I qualified mine. And as far as being a trusting man. Well, I would say I'm a knowledgeable man.
And my knowledge tells me Richt knows a whole **** of a lot more about building a winning college football program in the SEC. Certainly more than I know, you know or quite frankly anyone on this site knows. And I know he Will do even better in the ACC, period.
