People complaining about Kirby Smart lol. I'd love to be a perennial top 5 program year in and year out after the mess Richt left them/us in.

Actually when Richt left and Smart took over he had that team with Richt's guys in the playoffs the next season. And by the looks of it Richt left Manny a playoff caliber team that just needed a tweak here and there.

Richt may not use what he has to its fullest potential but seems to leave a solid foundation for the next coach to take to the next level. To say he left us in a mess doesn't even square with Manny himself has said when he took over. We were just a decent qb/ oc away from being a playoff contender. Those two concerns were the first thing Manny noted and corrected.

As for DBs, looks like UGA is going all out for the Texas guys and Kelee Ringo this cycle. They have 5* Dwight McGlothern from Texas there this weekend. Just offered another 5* Texas Safety today. Kelee Ringo was there last weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if Elias Ricks made a visit, too.

Georgia will not be doing what they want in The Lone Star State, The longhorns and Jimbo ain't having it in Texas, they got Lewis Cine but he isn't really from Texas

He won 3 national championships with Alabama as the DC & brought UGA to two playoff appearances, & 1 National Championship appearance. Coached for The Miami Dolphins in the NFL (2006).

yep, punter too. Forgot about that one. Manolo knew exactly what areas needed to be fixed and never hesitated making the moves. But for the most part Richt left him with a solid foundation.
