Watching Fitz play center field is a thing of beauty. That play he made last week from the far hash is SPECIAL STUFF.

There is no doubt in my mind he can play corner at a high level. If not an elite level.

I like putting JJ at outside corner where he can showcase his speed & physicality -- we're not trying to backfill the slot corner.

Keep Bryce roaming on the backend -- where he hauled in 6 INT's last year.

Bryce Fitzgerald. He has prototypical corner size and speed, he’s the best athlete in the secondary, he’s fluid and his ball skills are ridiculous.

Fitzgerald, Poyser, Thornton and Dunnigan are four of our best players and I’d like them on the field as much as possible. This option makes some sense with corner injuries.

We won’t know until seeing it in games, but this is a good point in the schedule to experiment.

Antoine, OJ, plus Lucas tweeked his hamstring but I don't know how bad it was. Ethan O'Connor was also banged up in the Stanford game but played through it. It's possible that they all get held out vs FAMU but I would expect Lucas and EOC back for Wake Forest that is if they even miss tonight's game. @Tracy724

Call me crazy but I wanna see Thornton play some linebacker. Basically a big nickel. Put him beside Toure and let them headhunt. Way better in coverage than Chase Smith will ever be. Then put Fitz at slot corner and let Dunnigan roam around at FS. I think this is the way to unlock the defense.
