Through 3 games….

Let’s stop rushing to conclusions on running backs so quick. I don’t know why everyone is so eager to hot take with that position.

First it was Martinez bashing in the first half of 2024. Then it was Fletcher bashing before the playoffs. Lyle and Pringle were the guys who needed to play until they weren’t. Mallory will get ran down at some point and people will turn on him.

Let it play out. I think we will have a very good running game because we always do under Cristobal.

Marty had a 32 yard run last night. That did happen, so you can’t pretend it didn’t. But if you did just for a second…..the other 28 carries went for 123 yards.

4.39 a carry is not a very good running game. Especially when you tell me Wake plays quarters or 3-deep and won’t let you get explosives on you.

We didn’t run the ball nearly well enough last night. The interior offensive line is nowhere near good enough right now, in the run game or pass pro. We gotta figure some **** out up front before we start playing NFL players on opponents defensive lines.

1) Mensah stats are beyond ridiculous. Hoping his ‘injury’ is something he’s fine by mid week. Play him 1.5 quarters and get out against Central Michigan
2) Enough with Pringle. 2.7 yards per carry. Give those carries elsewhere.
3) We really need Cooper to step up. Mali looks ridiculous but we need someone else to emerge. He has as many catches as our next 4 Pass catchers combined.
4) JJ Dunnigan leads the team in tackles. Who had that on their bingo card through 3 games.
5) Get Pringle off KR - he’s useless back there right now. He pauses each return and then thinks he can get through but we need someone else back there.
Lmao yall were just saying Pringle should be the starter and now he’s unplayable?!! Lol
Now Lyle is the savior lmao. And people were saying he should be the last dude to get the ball. Insufferable fans. When we can’t block **** it doesn’t matter who is out there! Our line is *** but our running scheme right up the gut is even worse

Not sure what this post is about, but I was responding to people jumping off the Pringle bandwagon.

Pringle has also been electric as a receiving threat as well. Look at Fletchers missed block, if that was pringle he wouldn't get a snap for 3 games... Its absurd.

Now that Brown looks to have a major injury, the fact Fletcher is a dog**** receiving threat... we don't know about Mallory, and TBD if Lyle just sucked last year cause he sucks or cause of injury, but Pringle better get a lot more burn.

hmm

Lmao have you seen Fletcher dropping passes to say he’s not a receiving threat? We just haven’t passed to him this year. We just keep him in to block

Fletcher has never been good as a receiver. Period.
He has a career Y/rr of 0.65 and a 16% drop rate. Avgs 9 yac/rec, and only like a 105 qb rating when targeted.

Pringle is a fine player. Not an A gap rusher like the rest of our stable, though. But he is a good change of pace, speed / receiving back. The problem with him rn as an RB is more of an issue of usage / scheme than it is an indictment on his talent.

I know. And I agree with that part. Was referring to your last point. Through 2 games against actual teams, the run game isn’t nearly good enough. I understand the track record. But I’d be lying if I said I had full confidence we’re going to able to push people around this year.

It has to get better. But it's extremely early. I thought we were running well with Fletcher last night. We need someone else to step up with Marty out.
