Thoughts on UCF vs. USF?

Do either of these teams have an orange and green split U on the side of their helmets?

Well then royally fūck them. You won’t get any feel-good well-wishes from me.

Any team that is not the U is the enemy. No exceptions. Fūck ‘em all.

I root for both UCF and USF.


I think UCF will be too much for them. USF's offense has been sluggish the past few weeks. We'll see, but I think UCF hangs 40 on them.

Frost doing what I thought he'd do at UCF. Good for them. They have a really good (and personable) coaching staff.



I don't understand the disdain for programs like UCF, USF, FIU, FAU, etc. These teams are largely made-up of really good local players who weren't quite gifted enough for Miami. I always root for these schools.

You can still be a legit Miami fan while rooting for the lil' guys in Florida. They're not in competition with us.
 
My sister went to UCF.

But I'm rooting on USF.

I don't like undefeated teams not named Miami.

This is a very adult perspective, and I don't like it.

I'll always hate the little guys in Florida because when they're even mildly good each and every-******'-one wants to talk about a Big 4, or how they're a replacement for (lately) Miami in the Big 3, or how they'll start stealing recruits soon, or whatever-the-****. And even if these assertions are delusional, they **** me off. Stay ******, my friends.
 
Should be a good game. I think UCF wins. They've been smoking everybody they played this year. I don't trust Strong to not coRch this game up.

I will watch because I love college football, and I expect this to be a good game. Even easier to watch when you don't have a rooting interest, as it will be in my case.
 
They play in a second tier conference and have good records. They are good teams but would have several losses if they played in a power 5. Any team can get sky high and beat a better opponent but can’t do it on a week in week out basis.

I’m a 94 grad and my daughter currently goes there. I’m going to the game but only because Miami is away. Miami 34-18. I think UCF wins also.
 
Who cares. UCf-USF-fiu-fau all whanabee programs. They will never attain the status and performance of the big 3 in the state. Those four loser programs only get the marginal recruits that the big 3 don’t want. If any of the 4 teams were currently in a power 5 conference they would wind up with losing records.
 
As a former alum of UCF (09), I'm definitely interested in the game. I've been a diehard Cane since I was a young kid so they are my team no matter what, but I still like to see UCF do well also. Pretty cool that both the Canes and UCF have had the seasons they have in the same year... When I was at UCF, USF was the better football program and I always had to hear my USF buddies talk sht about it.. so I hope UCF comes out and destroys them... either way it should be a good matchup.

USF grad myself, but with Strong at the helm...UCF could pull it off. Was thinking about going to the game, but the only time that I spend $100+ on tickets is when the Canes are playing.
 
Boy have times changed, last week of the season and instead of talking about Uf vs FSU, were talking about USC vs USF.
Florida football north of Orlando is pitiful, couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of schools (UF, FSU).
 
USF Alum.. I remember when UCF couldn't hold our jock strap.. We ended up stopping the "rivalry" because it was too one sided.. This is a totally different animal... Look forward to ending our little brother's undefeated season.
