Thoughts From the Bench Press: A&M

Is PureBulk L- citrulline + dl - malate a good option?
I don’t like Citrulline Malate as much as pure Citrulline

They claim it’s “better” because it’s Citrulline bound with Malic acid but truth is Malic acid doesn’t bond with Citrulline so there’s no extra benefits to it

In general Bulk Supplements seems like a solid place to buy from and they have pure Citrulline

They claim everything is third party tested but I’ve not seen evidence of this

Got a supplement that ends back pain? Asking for a friend.

Actually Glaxon, one of my favorite companies, released a product called GRIT. I normally would say there isn’t a supplement for back pain but they are on to something here

There’s an ingredient in it called Anandamide which triggers the cannabanoid system, which fights pain, and it does actually work. One of the only supplements I’m aware of that actually gets good feedback for this
I've seen some people get good results with https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9370036/

@Felonious Monk
@JHallCanes

Good luck

We're derailing your own thread here, but I'll offer yet another alternative explanation: after years into deads and squats, and then at one point feeling like my lower back was in a consistent knot, I went to a PT. Found out it wasn't actually my lower back at all nor the squat/deadlift form, but instead something with my "pelvic tilt," which likely happened from being a "corporate, sit at my desk monkey" (at the time). Some exercises and reducing the time sitting at a desk changed the whole situation in less than 6 weeks. Now into my 40s and can still dead and squat without lower back issues. /Crosses fingers, sign of the cross, knock on wood, etc.
pelvic tilt will f you up. glad you got it figured out

****, does everyone use pre-workout stuff? Never used them or really thought about it much.
nope. in the AM coffee and a PBJ, in the PM just water and a handful of trail mix. f that pre-workout chit, good luck processing that out of your body

You’re talking Neuro-inflammation which is my specialty at the moment

I’m a few weeks out, thinking mid October from dropping a long term brain health supplement aimed at exactly this

When people say supplements are useless they don’t know what the **** they’re talking about. We can’t claim it but we might be able to prevent or prolong things like Alzheimer’s and Dementia, even cancer. It’s all there in the literature usually what is the problem is it’s hard to deliver a supplement and have the body use it well.

I’m using liposomal technology on some resverstrol and the **** is amazing

@JHallCanes

per my last email.

Would you just post your ******* supplement power rankings already. By category, by brand...like, why do I even have to ask, brother? Should have been voluntary information given, but now its voluntold and it will feel inauthentic, but please post the list. Thought we was cool...

All due respect process what out of your body?

You’re way off base. It’s old school thinking so I certainly don’t expect to change your mind but you’re not speaking from facts

There’s no such thing to be honest

If you follow my social media content one thing I’m known for is “there is no best”

There is no top 3, there’s no best, there’s no power rankings. It’s marketing nonsense. People just copy off of eachother and slap their little labels on it

Every single supplement can be rendered useless in the wrong context and pretty much everything can be useful in the right context

That’s the truth

This is the internet, pal.

We only know Power Rankings, GOATs, WOATs, and MID.

nuanced analysis is for your therapist. gimme takes. bb forum would have me taking yohimbe and would laugh when I came back with a "MY **** WONT GO DOWN HELP" thread already.

They banned DMAA but you can still find it

I wouldn’t use it since no legit manufacturer will touch it but hey the FDA is fine with Adderall which is stronger with worse side effects

If I made my own preworkout this would be an easy answer but I’m incapable of lying to the people, especially my fellow Canes brethren that have been taken advantage of for decades

There is no best

Tell the others

Yes. I also find that people think it’s their lower back but it’s actually their hamstrings pulling on the lower back from being so tight

Something else to consider

Yup. Typically a hamstring issue or IT band. Could also be something going on with tight hips. Many times it’s something other than the actual back that is the source of the issue.

Go get a therapeutic massage from a quality place and see which muscle trigger points are causing the pain

Got in a car wreck in my late 20’s and have been ****ed ever since. My hips are constantly out of align and fire my glutes/hip flexor at the same time. I’m a mess. Massage helps, tried chiropractor but some are quacks and screwed up my neck. I probably need to do therapy to fix all my hip issues but I’m too lazy

Not sure this is the argument we really want to make - seems like more of a push if anything...

Former McNeese assistant Guidry charged with second-offense DWI
BATON ROUGE (AP) — Baton Rouge police say Western Kentucky defensive coordinator Lance Guidry — a former football coach at McNeese State — was arrested early Saturday on a drunken driving charge.

A Cajun - on a late Friday night/early Saturday morning - drunk?

95% of them pulled over are - and the 5% NOT - are already in the ditch.
