I may have missed him being good to go. I just know it's a hammy issue so I always know they can be a nagging issue long term. If he ain't 100%, keep him out til he's 100% ya know? I could be wrong tho. Last I heard was the update on Through the Smoke and they were unsure of his status

Mario said something like “there’s reason for optimism” or “we like where things are trending”. No hard confirmation, but I think he’d like TAMU to think the entire two deep might not be able to play.

Mario Cristobal has never had anyone not “right where he wants them”. Even his losses hurt the opponent, his lies they hear as truth, they lie awake while he sleeps (which is only one hour a day, so he can fight the nightmares of orphan children).

So will Arroyo play or not? The answer is Mario.

It should be a throwaway season; not because it looked so bad, but it took the perfect storm of negative circumstances to produce such a poor product on the football field. There was no #1 option, the line was decimated by injuries and the scheme didn't fit body-types or skillsets. You name it and i'm sure it happened in the cluster-**** that was last season.

Both teams are completely different this year and we can't hang our hat on too much of anything that occurred last season, other than the fact that despite our challenges and self-inflicted wounds we competed and weren't completely outclassed.

I’ve said the same things and it’s often met with “Mario excuses” responses

I’m not a Mario apologist (whatever that means) but last year was absolutely the perfect storm of everything going wrong. Just shake that thing up like an Etch-a-Sketch

When asked about his philosophy, I’m paraphrasing but he said something along the lines of “Randy Shannon’s loss to Florida helped me as a coach more than you’ll ever know”
