I was willing to originally give him the year until CMU and va tech happened, now I wanna him gone but the problem is do we expect the clowns at the Hecht to hire the right guy? Doubtful..

I like the guy as a guy...but he's not it, man. He's gotta go and I don't really care what he does throughout the rest of the year.

The problems run much deeper than him, but he will not be successful here.

I do support Manny as figurehead as I support any HC we have. In Military, I supported my commanding officer. Some were really good. Some were awful. I supported their position as my leader. I've accounted for Manny being 1st year HC and gave him benefit of the doubt because of this. Was still hopeful following UF game. The last 2 games have been deplorable. What irks me most is how he acted in offseason. Would have thought we'd compete for a Natty this year with his (false) bravado. We would have been better off if he cut his HC teeth at Temple and possibly come here down the road if he moved up the ladder (somewhere a step above Temple) successfully before being considered here. Huge problem that I forgot to factor for: We are Temple until we make right hire(s).

First I'll say thank you for your service and you folk who serve are the real role models. However with no disrespect meant if you served just as loyally for a commander you knew without a doubt was leading you to death that's not service that's suicidal tendencies. You're loyal and support those that are loyal & support you. What's going on here is as one sided as it gets. Crazy part is this staff is actively trying to run kids away from the program. Saying kids arent Miami caliber players. Well maybe at best two of these coaches total understand what a Miami player is. Obviously mike first and foremost & on a regular he is exasperated by this staff.

If he benches jw. Plays Tate or perry and runs hurry up offense, all shotgun and he starts calling the defense. Then I’ll ride or die

lol ok. a first time HC with no experience is expected (at the time of hire) to win today. ok.

hes done an a pretty **** job so far (five games), but the school hired him to win in his tenure and will accept the growing pains unless it goes farther south. ****, even a school w an infinite amount of funds compared to us (tenn) stuck with pruitt another season when its obvious.

Manny has looked like he is in over his head. We have been outcoached and have underperformed against less talented opponents. Having said all that, he has been able to get the team to show some backbone which we have lacked for years. He is learning on the job. I'm giving him a fair chance to turn it around. He was not handed the keys to a Ferrari like Coker was. We could easily be 5 - 0 with fans thinking we are better than what we are. He does need to show us some more reasons to believe and it starts Friday.

Totally fair. And pretty much where I am. I just don't want Blake James making the call if this gets worse.

If by some miracle his team rattles off 4 straight wins starting with UVA, I'd be impressed with his ability to rally the troops. Still has to show the team is making progress though. Not sure how he can do that with this OL.

We just allowed a VT team go 9-16 on 3rd downs against us at home, by a 1st time starting QB. The narrative was our 3rd down def has been good this year. There's not much going right w/ this team on any level. F being a 1st yr coach, there is no excuse for this team to regress this bad.

This REALLY ****es me off. I think I know who (no doubt there's others) you're talking about being told they're not Miami caliber. With those resumes their arrogance is astonishing. Not a single one of these reject ***** brought in to hangout with Manny are Miami caliber coaches. How insulting.

This staff is Golden's on meth. Manny is doing Golden's worst **** all at once. Remember the round table recruiting video those dip****s did? That's Manny figuring out if a kid is his idea of Miami caliber. We have another Paul Williams. The tag along who doesnt belong coaching anywhere, much less here. The defensive coordinator who's immune to unemployment. The former player on staff wondering wtf he's doing with the rest of them. We've got our randy melvin. He's just coaching the O-line this time. Manny even has his own "fear the tie" schtick in the TD rings. And once again more of our on field coaches are FSU grads than UM grads.

U know why its worse than golden? This is after game 5 in year 1. Golden's mirage took longer than 5 games to wear off. This is gonna be a rough few years.

People like to say I've been wrong and when they say that they talk about recruiting. Because they fail to comprehend these are indecisive children & their money hungry families. That means things are constantly changing. I only tell you guys what I know as it's been related to me one way or another. If I'm saying an opinion I make sure that's known. This is my opinion in regards to the staff and its based on what I see and what I know. When it comes to the staff if you're assuming I may be wrong, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Just saying brother

Miami would have to win out, win the Coastal and win the bowl game. Those were my expectations coming into the season, and that's how I'm going to grade Diaz. You get 10 wins, start showing signs of life on the recruiting trail and make some staff changes, I'll believe. None of that is happening, so here we are.

I'm glad you brought this up - especially since you have an ear where most of us don't - because I keep wondering why we've had the transfers we recently had. Reed is highly touted and decides to leave and the same with Bethel. Both with what looks to be a great opportunity to play. All I can think of from an outsider's perspective is "What is this staff thinking? How are they grading these guys?" Then we have players put others that are lower caliber players over others?? It doesn't seem like they know how to evaluate or really know what a "Miami Caliber" player is. All this to say, I think players stopped buying into the coach talk, see the hypocrisy of the staff and so on.
