Fire EVERYONE, and hire the OC from Oklahoma, if not get out of my face
No man, I knew we weren't close to playoff material. Was hoping we were good enough to win the corstal. We're not.thats on you for buying the offseason talk. we know this team wasnt anywhere close to a title contender or even ny6 team based on the OL alone (thats been clear to us since day 1 of the offseason). the schedule is soft so we should be playing better than we are and we shouldnt have lost to UNC or VT. manny would have to win out and get a bowl win for me

All i wanted to was to win the coastal too
I thought it was very possible
Beforebefore or after you saw the oL and O?
Before
Agree on bothmanny taking over the D will help that unit. the O is an issue tho esp the OL. thats not going to get any better.
Want my Avatar fired. Manny is symptom, not cureWhat would it take to change your mind?
There is the problem with questions like this. No one should need more games or more seasons to make a judgment.
He has already demonstrated that he could not take a talented team through the summer and bye weeks and win games against lesser talented teams.
His players don't seem to understand what they are doing
The entire team is undisciplined
His QBs seem lost and play better with their own instincts then the play called.
He mismanages players
This is not some up and coming team that plays hard and plays with discipline but does not have the talent to win. Sure you think with that team in time the team will get better.
More time does nothing here. Beyond the contract and the business side there is no reason he should stay on another day. He should not be learning on the job. He was hired to win now not in three years.

Definately feel for the improvement hype but never believed the title hype. Not for a second. Oline issues are well documented. I only bring up the hype to establish the fact the the hype HE created is the measuring stick he should be judged by. The majority of the hype was him completely $hitting on Richt and establishing the narrative that Richt and his offense were holding back a team that could make it to Charlotte. Mark Richt with his ancient offense would have a better record than this. If Richt and his staff didn't meet the standard and probably will be proven to be better than this staff then what does that say about Manny and company. A coach does deserve more time. I will admit that. Problem is this is a unique circumstances. We see talented coaches who can't turn things around all the time. But this is a Jeremy Pruitt level disaster. Richt had a coaching history that he could point too that a recruit could look at and believe things could get better. Manny doesn't. If the team continues to spiral what will 2 or 3 years worth of terrible recruiting classes change. Fire Manny name interim and find a legit coach that can recruit free of the burden of coaching this disaster the rest of the season. Someone who can evaluate the players from a box seat. Decide who stays and who goes. The main problem we have had is that guys come in and don't gut this team. Alot of these players need to be sent packing so that the first recruiting class is huge. AD and Assistant Ad need to walk as well. Mark Richt is far from a really good coach (while at UM).Mark Ritch is a really good coach and he went 7-6. That means that we are truly a 7-6 team talent wise
I am not surprised by our record. A good season for Miami is 4 losses

Yea. Blake shouldn't even have the call on whether Manny returns. But knowing how this goes at UM, Blake's replacement is already on staff. Bass and Frenk aren't going to pass up a "qualified" female candidate for an outside hire.Anyone that wants Manny fired and let Blake James make another mistake pick doesn't understand the real problem at Hecht.
he was hired to win in his tenure not specifically today or tomorrow. the expectations we set (partially by the talk from the summer) is an issue. the team has looked awful tho, even worse than imaginable against bad teams.
That is entirely inaccurate.
Contracts are for multiple years only because coaches would never accept less. No coach would ever get fire before contract end if judgment is based on the tenure. No coach can lose every game in his first 3 seasons on a five year deal and say, oh wait, I have 2 more years to get it right.
You don't need more time. He has demonstrated he can't do it under the most accommodating circumstances. It is only going to get more difficult. Less recruits to losing school. More difficult schedule, losing the team, etc.
Coaches have to win today. The only reason they get more time is because of contracts and millions spent on them...not because of fan expectations.
lol ok. a first time HC with no experience is expected (at the time of hire) to win today. ok.
