This is the 1st game in a LOOONG time where FSU will not have a decided talent advantage over us and even, one could argue, we have a slight advantage over them.

I cannot remember the last time we had a talent edge over them since maybe 2004/2003ish.

Been a long time. The talent levels are still comparable, though. Just thought it was a sign of the changing times.

In 2017, Diaz overthought a bunch of stuff; no reason to zone blitz Blackmon that year. He adjusted a lot of that in 2018, which is one reason we improved so drastically in 3rd down conversions. In 2018, it was a weird, disastrous game throughout.

Remember, our offense has been playing with a piano on its back.
