That is not exactly true. I ripped Richt for all his failures in recruiting when he was here. I just said he is worlds better than Manny, which he is.

The rankings clearly do mean schit because all the top teams in the nation are high up on the recruiting rankings list. Some coaches suck so much that even with talent they can't win much, but that doesn't mean the rankings are useless.

it certainly does. They have great coaches and that is obviously important too, but without elite recruits they wouldn't be dominating like they are. Recruiting is most important with coaching coming up second.

You're still not understanding. I'm telling you to compare apples to apples. You can't compare G5 to P5. But even if you want to go that route..elite G5 schools like UCF have proven that despite being out-talented they can still compete with and beat legitimate P5 schools like Auburn. Other G5 schools were so good that they were able to make the jump to P5 like Utah & TCU.

Yes elite teams are high up on the recruiting rankings list, but I don't think you truly understand that those recruits are highly rated PRECISELY because they are being recruited by elite coaches that have a proven track record of evaluating/assessing, & developing talent. Because of this many of the recruiting agencies give those coaches & teams the benefit of the doubt when rating their players. It is very hard for me to believe that 90% of all 5 stars would end up on NFL rosters, if they didn't have elite coaches to develop them in CFB. So the pt that I am trying to make to you is that the validity & accuracy of the recruiting rankings & ratings hinges on & is entirely dependent on how elite the coaching is. For example look at how many NFL prospects coaches like Bud Foster & Kirk Ferentz have developed over the yrs despite only having access to 2 & 3 star recruits.

So to reiterate..the entire sport of CFB is predicated around coaching. You could of gave Pastor 32 five star players every yr, and he still couldn't have replicated the success of Saban or Dabo.

Side note: The fact that your bragging on your GF’s $90k salary tells me that yours is actually much smaller. Is her **** bigger than yours too?

All I wanted was to enjoy my favorite time of the year, and these stupid fcks have taken it from me after 4 lousy weeks.

That **** was worse than a lot of losses we’ve watched because it was a total breakdown in every phase of the game. An absolute abomination.

Any half decent team mops us yesterday. We couldn’t block or cover a team composed of guys we wouldn’t accept as preferred walk ons.
