The power of Ohio State Buckeyes QB J.T Barrett's voice

Forget Coaching, Talent, or Execution I want a player with balls who wants to win and get in his teammates faces if they aren't executing.

Richt gives it his best during the pregame speeches we see. But until we have players up there who step up as leaders and are yelling at/pumping up their teammates, we won't be back to the Miami we all know and love.

Yelling only works when your guys have ability but aren't focused. Our talented guys mostly produce, but you can yell at that OL all you want...

it would be nice if ANY of our players had it. A team doesn't need that from the QB, necessarily.

Someone has got to bring the juice, tho.

Im guessing Corn is our guy.

all facts!!

Except Kaaya is a better QB than J.T. Not sure if you been watching, but he's good this year, and hasn't been since Herman left. Look at his numbers. He's a good runner, and a bad passer.

You either have it or you don't. Even qbs in the NFL like Aaron Rodgers and joe flacco they aren't rah rah guys by any means... but they produce

Nothing was more lame than watching Kaaya look completely out of place during the coin flip in the FSU game when the players were trash talking each other. If that doesn't get a player hyped then nothing will.

I've heard Kaaya calls his teammates "fellas". Kid is in way over his head.

If you need someone to yell a bunch of cliches at you to pump you up you're probably a dodo. Leave that **** to real enforcers. OL and the defense.

I never seen qbs getting hyped up before games.

Been saying that for awhile. Dude just doesn't have that in him which is ok. He doesn't need that to be successful.

Exactly, at least fit the scene - or don't be the lamest person there. It's not necessary, look at Ken Dorsey, but it would be a major plus.

It doesn't have to be the QB and it doesn't have to be yelling. We need players that hate losing! We need players that have heart! We need a leader to pick the guys up when they're down. With the exception of Elder, we have none.

Elder isnt a vocal guy like that either. Shaq pops said carter is actually the vocal leader on the team that guys look at.
