There is no reason we shouldn’t have dropped 45 points on this team. That happens And this entire thread and your comment doesn’t exist. Take 7 away tor that horrendous special teams.
If the score was 45-18 canes we’re all celebrating.
Defense “sucked” because we trialed a lot on a game that should’ve been over by halftime and we all sat there ****ed cute we couldn’t score and kept hoping we could “ stop them”.
In today’s game the only offense that seems to suck is ours. Ask anyone if holding app state to less than 20 points is easy. Not excusing manny cause he’s the head coach and the result lies on him. But the defense wasn’t the problem tonight imo.

We held off a better football program for a victory. Too much negativity after such a huge win

So it wasn't the problem because we had to rely on the QB not connecting with guys running wide open?

Was the defense not a problem on the final drive because App St dropped two passes?

We should ask power houses like Marshall and Georgia state how to keep the mighty Mountaineers below 20 points.

I know people love to attack what manny says, but he is referring to APP State playing tough and beating ACC, SEC, Big 10 teams.

2017-Lost 31-10 at UGA, team that almost won NC. Stats were not lopsided at all.

2018-Lost in OT at #12 Penn State 45-38.

2019-Beat UNC in Chapel Hill, and beat South Carolina in Columbia.

That is what Manny is referring to.
