This is one of the reasons we are in the mess we are in.

This shouldn't happen, if you're on this board and doing it, you're an idiot, but to think this is exclusive to Miami, is dumb. It happens at every school, and it's worse in the SEC. Still, shouldn't happen here (or anywhere).

I can't read the messages bc I don't have Twitter - and there's a reason I don't have Twitter, Instagram, etc because it's all toxic.

But this is the age of social media. If you open yourself up and share your private world with others to "feel the love", share the good times, or potentially monetize your brand, you also open yourself up to potential criticism, drama and bs. If that is not something you can handle, it's best to keep your social media private to a select group of friends and family. That decision is on the individual.

As for the other piece - It's a shame that grown adults act so poorly but we as society are to blame. We do nothing as a collective group to stop it......if anything, all the "likes", retweets, reposts and 15 minutes of fame we give people for being stupid (which at times monetizes stupid acts) can increase the occurrences and bad behavior. It's no different than people being more willing to pull phones out and record people being assaulted instead of stepping in and trying to stop it. Most are NOT doing it to help authorities. They are doing it for views on social media.
