As for a lack of talent, again, print out a depth chart of the UM roster from tonight and you'll see a lot of these guys at the next level in a few years.

He didn't want to leave TCU and he calls plays. The other Co-OC who doesn't call plays was offered the OC at Texas and turned it down. The guy does nothing but score points and turned Boykin into a Heisman candidate.

Not true. He lobbied hard for an interview at Tulane. Trust me, I know. He was interviewed and was a finalist at North Texas. He wanted to leave.

Absolutely. The offensive scheme is so sickening it's like it was designed to fail.

I remember very well what I watched in Blacksburg two years ago. We didn't need a big night from Kaaya because we risked lining up against them and seeing if they could stop basic power plays. It worked. Imagine that.

Tonight we never even tried. Anything else is pathetic rationalization.

Here are some clips from that game two years ago. Notice the I formation sets, 1 back sets, quick hitting blasts, use of running backs on curl routes over the middle, along with schemes similar to what we're using now. Somehow James Coley (briefly) from 2014 is everything I expected from Mark Richt in 2016.

Those types of plays would cleanse the offensive linemen and help maximize Kaaya. Right now we are making sure his weaknesses are at forefront.

I know he wasn't anything out of this world but compared to what we have now I'd be ecstatic with having Jedd Fisch back.

But to your point....we've basically been self imposing additional sanctions on ourselves for the last 12 years with incompetent hirings. This administration won't do jack to fix it anytime soon either.

Yeah, Fisch was a clever guy. I was pretty disappointed when he left UM after just a short stint. If I could have him back at UM right now, I wouldn't hesitate

I'm going to say it again for the 478th time...we are ignoring the short/intermediate middle of the field.

Slants, crossing patterns, digs....non existent. You can't complain about the O-line but then run every ******* route 45 yards down the field. You need chain-moving routes underneath to basically work as a supplemental running game.

Richt is the worst play caller we've had in since Nix, and he's fast approaching him. It's tough enough to be the head coach but this mother ****** wants to call plays from the sideline.

How about all deep routes on 3rd and 3 and a sack? I almost pulled my eyes out after that. Where were some quick hitters on 3rd and 3? Hit a moving receiver and let him fall forward to keep the drive alive. Nope. Everyone go deep and ask pass pro to hold up.

The main takeaway from these highlights is that Duke Johnson was a ****ing beast.

First things first we need Richt to swallow his pride and allow for a dedicated OC to even happen.

You can bet your *** the incompetent decision makers that reside within our administration look at him as a sacred cow and won't put any pressure on him to do anything for a while.

It's the same OL. Stacy Coley will play in the NFL and Ahmmon Richards is a future star. VTech got smashed by Syracuse and lost to Al Golden the past two years.

We were unprepared. Again. We can't make a 30-yard field goal. Our penalties are idiotic. We drop more passes than any team in Power 5. We were constantly running against the numbers.

That's coaching.

Kaaya has not played like a Day 1 or even a Day 2 draft pick. He's unathletic and that hurts us. But he's good enough to win with in college football. We should be much better than we are.
