This is on Richt

Brad is a pocket passer. Get over yourselves of you think we should bench him. He made some outstanding throws and no QB on this team is better. What throws did he miss? l saw more vertical passing plays this game but it is clear this play calling is elementary and offensive line is terrible. CMR needs to be a lot more creative. This season is over. It's important yall support the team bc recruits will see this.

And, for those blaming Richt and the play calling, some of that is on Kaaya. When we run it on 2nd and 12 or 3rd and 6, with the RPO, that's Kaaya's decision when he sees the safety or safeties back from the LOS. That's not a call from the sideline to run it. He has the option to run or pass, and he's choosing run because we have numbers. We're not executing. Now, you could argue Richt shouldn't give him the option to run it on 2nd and long or 3rd and medium even if we have numbers, but Richt is not calling a strictly running play in those situations.

So the solution is to just keep giving Kaaya the option to choose? UM didn't hire Kaaya to be OC, and even I saw that the RPO game wasn't working 3 weeks ago. Why hasn't Rick?

This is 100% not on Richt. Wow, I'm shocked people blame this on Richt, and in doing so, absolve Kaaya or praise him. I'm done if people are blaming Richt for not being able to win with this crap.

We lit these guys up last year. Same OL. Same QB. What changed?

The OL is playing worse for starters. We lost good WRs. Kaaya is playing scared. VT is a much better and older and experienced team this year and playing at home. There are a number of reasons. You are knowledgeable. You know you can't say we did this last year, so we should do it again this year. We put 47 on UNC in 2014 and they put 56 on us in 2015.

All valid points. I just can't help and ask myself why did we struggle offensively vs. FAU? We are head and shoulders above them talent and size wise. I don't know who is worse, Richt or our OL?

But but but with ten injuries Tracy Howard is starting on the worst team in the NFL. And Gunter is starting with four cab injuries in GB. Who exactly is dominating? **** who's even a legit contributor? Dorsett?? Bwahaha! Duke? Kind of? Rashawn Scott? Nope. Burns or bush? I haven't heard much on either. Walford? Not doing much in Oakland. We used to have potential pro bowlers, who on this team has that level of talent that is not a freshman? The talent is not great and the coaching is actually even worse

I said you could argue it's a mistake to give him the option, but I was pointing out that's it not Richt calling a running play. Brad can still throw it.

Play calling wasn't bad tonight,Kayaa doesn't let go of the ball.He refuses to get the ball out quick and Palmer said it during the game.MR didn't fry the defense with his tempo tonight and he didn't abandon the play makers. And regardless who the coach is,BK freezes in the red zone.

Exactly

And how many Hokie's, Blue Devils, Bearcats, Tar Heels, and on and on are starting in the NFL?

Our 2013 team only had 15 guys who started in the pros. I wish we had 16 Pro Bowlers like Virginia Tech.

So you really think we believe him being a pocket passer is the issue? He's terrible as a pocket passer thats the issue. And he should be benched immediately

Herman was the guy that was hungry and we blew it

This X10000

Zero chance Herman would have left Houston for Miami. He will get 8 million a year at least from some school and we can't get anywhere close to that kind of money. Not even worth approaching him. Butch is radioactive. We needed a coach who understood what it takes to recruit Miami so that means a "Miami guy." Schiano probably gets the nod if Richt hadn't been available. Richt showed you a glimpse of how it's going to get done when he was at pop Warner games selling the program. No other program is down here engaging with seventh and eight graders. Miami shows them love first way before any other program, they start hanging around the program, and it starts to feel like family and they realize they don't want to live thousands of miles away anymore. That's what the state of Miami means. In a head to head competition with FSU or Bama for a coveted senior, we lose that battle more often than not. When they have been wearing your gear since eighth grade, you tend to get those kids, who also truly love the program even when it's down. Richt knows this which is why he will be successful. He'll get enough talent in a few years that he'll win even if he's not a great coach. It just might take four or five years and our fan base is too **** impatient to realize that Richt knows how to recruit miami and needs a little time.

Jamison crowder is doing quite well. Off the top of my head. The Fuller kid from VT is doing well. Not sure where Cincinnati came in but I'm sure I can find more. WR are not that much more talented. Just look at the speed we are not even close to as fast as we should be as a team.

He's not terrible. He's not mobile. The point is he's never been mobile. Why is this year worse than the previous with the whole offense coming back? Why isn't there any Pre-Snap motion? Offensive line is trash but Malik rosier is not going to help.
