Just like they beat NIU by 3 touchdowns. It's not always that easy. I understand what you are saying and I expect Miami will win by a few TDs but not everything works out that way at times.

exactly
but i play the averages
there is a higher chance that we win and win comfortably
the NIU loss was an outlier
so thats why i dont focus on outliers

Only 16 on offense.

The gator snapped a punt over its head and took a safety.

USF got 6.02 yards per play against UiF. That number ranks you about 40th traditionally over a full season. A good performance, but nothing spectacular.

Their first 6 drives of the game were:

9 plays 31 yards punt
15 play 55 yards field goal
3 and out
8 play 68 yards field goal
5 plays 24 yards punt
4 plays 20 yards punt

If they do that against us, and we lose, just kill everyone. The game should be 24-6 or worse by this point.

We're a 17 point favorite, these dudes have no one who can rush the passer, and we have the most accurate QB in the country with a comical assembly of skill talent. There's no reason for this game to be a dogfight. We're considerably better, and we're at home.

Florida CAN play good defense. Just like they CAN generate offense. But they don't always do it. I think they played pretty good defense in the USF game. What did them in was USF catching them in a substitution debacle for a TD and 30 yards in penalties on the last drive.

Boise State also had done a pretty good job against USF up until the fake punt for a TD. If they stop that fake, which happened midway through the 3rd, or if USF just punts then it's likely USF only has 10 points through 3 quarters.

They've had these quasi-schemed, quasi-lucky plays that have catapulted them in these games. Miami needs to be mindful. Don't forget, USF had the reverse pass to the QB trick play TD last year against us. This is what they do to win games.
