To get the admin's heads out of the sand. Building a campus stadium close to or on campus would do this program/school wonders:
Stanford built a beautiful 90M stadium with a capacity of 50k in 10 months - yes 10 months.

This article is incredible and all the UM people need to read and see how its done!!

I have yet to see a compelling argument for why an on campus stadium would be beneficial. So some of the tiny number of on campus students can walk to the game?

the city of coral gables just recently denied a petition to allow 6-7 outside tables for 20-30 patrons. that is how ridiculous they can be. if they wont allow the tables, they are not going to allow a stadium, parking and traffic.

if you dont live in the city, you will not understand how stupid these people can be.

If there can be a thaw in relations between USA and Cuba, surely there can be some compromise between UM and the COCG.

you overestimate the citizens of coral gables and the premium they place on quiet and seemingly unperturbed areas . . .

another example? they won a long battle against publix to redevelop the monza avenue store, which is the worse publix store ever. publix put hundreds of thousands of dollars behind the campaign, and nothing.

Give campaign contributions, kickbacks, bribes and put a couple of CG politicians on the payroll like every other large entity in Miami does, problems fixed
