I've got news for ya...(This coming from a noteworthy former UM player)...If the season were to start today...N'kosi WOULD be the starter....So it's really up to the other 2 too up their play....If things stay status quo...Then Kosi starts Aug 24th....Nkosi is not starting. There is an article on another site about this very topic. The author uses a lot of quotes from Manny Navarro, from The Athletic, who recently went through a Q&A session with fans. Manny fully believes that N'Kosi Perry will be the starter against UF (about 30 people, from this board, heads just exploded) and according to the "people close to each QB" William's is the most likely to transfer in the fall if he is the third string QB. Navarro also mentioned that Tate would likely transfer at the end of the season, if he is not the starter because he would be immediately eligible to play, considering he will have graduated by the end of the season.
"Fully believes"? I hate it when agenda driven posters like you deliberately distort a quote to create a false narrative. What he actually said was "(r)ight now I'd name N'Kosi Perry the favorite to start against Florida. But the job is not set in stone at all and I think if he struggles, or anyone else struggles, the job will continue to switch hands until it is really won."
You want them texas and oregon looking lockers huhRandom, but our locker room look like it's stuck in the late 2000's. Are there anymore phases of our facility upgrades? I know we have the dorms but I'm talking about for football.
The good news is if that appears to be a narrative that is going around inside the program, I firmly believe it will push Tate and Jarren even harder. The fact that all 3 have a legitimate shot, but more importantly, the fact that all 3 actually KNOW and BELIEVE that they have a shot, will cause us to get their best effort in summer and fall camp. I think the problem last year was Richt favored Rosier heavily and though the competition was labeled as "open", I don't think Kosi nor Jarren believed they had a fair shot. I think it is safe to say that Jarren definitely didn't have a fair shot!I've got news for ya...(This coming from a noteworthy former UM player)...If the season were to start today...N'kosi WOULD be the starter....So it's really up to the other 2 too up their play....If things stay status quo...Then Kosi starts Aug 24th....
It became obvious that the bottom guy of the three was out when we brought in that ginger juco preferred walk-on.
Problem with these predictions is when these dopes use fake sources “close to the program” in an attempt to validate their guesswork. If they say, “I have no real idea, but my guess is ____ will start.”
Once they start up with these lame anonymous sources, who could be a friend of a player’s dad or any other attenuated 5th party, they venture into soap opera land. When they do that, all they’re doing is trying to look more knowledgeable than they are in order to get clicks and gain a following. Unfortunately, the world is packed with dolts who think these writers are actually dialed in and have real info.

That's speculatory at best. I think it's more probable that Manny does not have a legit source. Then again, that's just my speculative viewpoint.w williams, its likely his dad. his dad set up the UK transfer
Ahhhh, gotcha. I mistakenly thought he was still the Herald.
Exactly. It's hilarious how Sabag is sooooo ****y at some of those pressers when the media there is less critical of him/his program than North Korean State Media is of Kim Jong-un.
Off the top of my head, Ivins, Underwood, and Navarro have all called their shot regarding who they think will be QB1. I'm sure there are others, I just can't remember. I don't even think the coaches know who the starter will be, let alone anyone outside of the program. You and I have just as good of a chance of guessing the starting QB's, and just like Ivins, Underwood, and Navarro, we don't know s'hit!
Good call on the recap articles. I remember those recap articles because it was a lot of people on this board that were complaining that Ivins hated Martell and favored Perry.Pretty sure Ivins hasn't made a prediction. 247 has written articles recapping the spring practices and their impressions from the portions they observed

Considering facilities are a major factor in recruiting, yeah I would prefer the Texas and Oregon looking ones. That's what the recruits like isn't it?You want them texas and oregon looking lockers huh
I don’t understand somebody saying somebody’s likely the starter now, when there have a been NO organized practices or anything much for the coaches to really evaluate since the end of spring practice. You really can’t evaluate these player organized practices for games starting purposes.
So where is the logic that player X is considered the starter now? Based on what? Can somebody explain that to me please.
It literally makes no sense for someone to player X is the starter if the game was today, when nothing has changed since the end of spring and they were all virtually tied.
If somebody can explain to me how this has happened, that a specific player has the big lead to be the starter, I sure would appreciate it.
I get it. I remember when his pops was right in the center of Jarren potentially transferring last year. However, without knowing if pops is Manny's source, it is still a speculative viewpoint to assume its Jarrens father. Also, to answer your last question, no, I do not believe that Jarren will stick around if he is named QB3. It's not unreasonable to think that any of the 3 would transfer if they are named QB3. That's the nature of today's college football world.his dad is the one who did all the talking last december w the transfer stuff. there were rumors from UK that it was his dad communicating with the UK staff about the williams transfer. manny def has a source and regarding Jarren, the source will be right. he nearly left twice (after the bowl, before the bowl) and you think hes gonna stick around to be a third stringer behind two QBs w 3-4 years left to play? no
