I may be naive but I don't think the negativity of the forum has anything to do with it. We've never gotten a complaint about it from the school, nor did we ever get a complaint about the WEZ.
The only issues have been related to the disclosure of information. I get it- guys like Belichick and Saban are as paranoid as it gets. But the ironic thing is that Pete doesn't report his conversations with players, and we withhold a ton of information for the good of the program. The Marques Gayot injury is a very recent example.
Respectfully disagree. Put yourself in Golden's or UM's position, and what would you do?
Maybe act like a professional? You don't go after someone's professional future, because some people are being mean on the internet. Especially when said person has been nothing if not complimentary of you personally. It's absurd behavior that is incredibly petulant and childish. And all it does is prove that he's not, in fact, "ignoring the noise."
Preach.
The best part of the UM shills claiming fans on the web brought this upon themselves is that these idiots refuse to acknowledge how remarkably pathetic it is that a grown *** man making $2.5M to "lead" a football program with a rich history of success is instituting a gag order because his feelings were hurt over banners and fans (justifiably) complaining about lack of production.
He's a coward and the people that defend him are also cowards.
I'd love to see Folden coach at an SEC School like Bama, where the fans are borderline psychotic. People here think UM fans are bad? We're nothing compared to some of the other deranged fanbases.
