I bet Steve wishes he could have scored a late TD against Florida to make the score look better
My thoughts? If Miami had played Bama's schedule we'd have at least four losses.
I feel the same way. That's why every time the @ACCFootball account on X/Twitter posts something showing why Miami is deserving of a playoff bid, I have been lighting into them. We have been complaining for years about their crooked officiating, and the conference never did a thing. Now they want to be pro Miami??? F*** that. They have treated Miami like an unwanted stepchild for years, but now they see they may have cheated their way into no ACC school making the playoffs. F*** the ACC and their officials!!!!Can I just add- to the people who say Miami put itself in this mess by losing to Louisville and SMU. Ok, sure Louisville was a mess. But Miami had squeaked out a road victory against SMU- the refs stole that game with the BS roughing the passer, where Lightfoot clearly doesn’t hear the whistle and even tries to hold up the qb when he realizes the play is dead. And then the refs pick up a PI flag in OT that ended up giving the game to SMU. Why do Miami fans fault the team and Mario for crooked referees? Is Miami expected to play its best game every game of the season? No team does that. Miami did enough to win- we were robbed of the W.
If they put us ahead of Bama, we'll probably need to jump ND too. Unless they have ND jump OU and/or Ole Miss. They probably won’t do it, but ranking Bama behind Miami this week is the easiest way for the committee to wash their hands of next week’s mess and just let it play out on the field.
Miami jumped three spots in FPI and Bama dropped one. In SP+, Miami moved up two and Bama fell two, putting Miami a few spots ahead. Just got a ranked win while bama barely beat a coachless **** team. The move could be justified.
It would be embarrassingI wonder if we took it to court and got an emergency stay for the ACC CG, just how much would that muck everything up. I don't think it would work, but I sure as **** would like to see the fireworks.
There’s no legal merit to that. The ACC is stupid but they didn’t violate the rules they adopted.I wonder if we took it to court and got an emergency stay for the ACC CG, just how much would that muck everything up. I don't think it would work, but I sure as **** would like to see the fireworks.
I think what he said was everyone below Bama was out. Like the only change could’ve been Bama. I could be wrong but I remember when we came in at whatever we were ranked Rece Davis saying no change like the committee said. Or something to that effect.I recall last year, the CFP D!ckhead saying that any team already slotted for playoffs, would not drop out after a loss in conference championship games.
assuming byu loses and bama winsIf they put us ahead of Bama, we'll probably need to jump ND too. Unless they have ND jump OU and/or Ole Miss.
Then it could be:
7. ND
8. Ole Miss
9. OU
10. Miami
11. Bama
No conference champ finalists were on the bubble last yearI think what he said was everyone below Bama was out. Like the only change could’ve been Bama. honestly I think if anything is ever going to happen for us it gets set up tomorrow nightSo SIAP,
As far as tomorrow goes, are we just hoping to be at 11? Cause that would give us about a 5% chance assuming they drop Bama if they get obliterated Saturday? Vs being 12 or lower? Which would basically give us a 0.0% chance? Is that where we are at currently?

And if Miami doesnt get in that bs roughing the passer on Lightfoot is the reason I hope Duke wins and the ACC gets nobody in. I want it to hurt themCan I just add- to the people who say Miami put itself in this mess by losing to Louisville and SMU. Ok, sure Louisville was a mess.
