Therell Gosier decommitted

Too bad - I really liked Gosier's potential. We've had some recruits "that also play basketball", but don't look particularly good doing it. Gosier looked smooth on the court.

To be fair, of all the things to complain about, this isn't it lol.

Chatman, Cager, Calloway is what the WR class should look like (if they actually close, which.....). Gosier just doesn't fit.
 
Although this kid has grade issues, all I got to say is if you are going to drop kids like spence, Christian, goiser and the others don't take their commitment or offer them in the first place. It makes us look bad when we have 12 de commitments and half of them were dropped

The class doesn't look right without Ridley.

Another year of losing the best WR in state.

In the last 4 cycles. We missed 3 out of 4.... Of the top dog

Two years in a row.


Missed on Rudolph in '14, Ridley in '15

Got Coley in '13.

Missed on Cooper in '12



Coley was the only one we landed in the last 4 cycles who was the top dog.

This is also not including some others that were very good as well coming out.

All 3 were Cane leans at one point....:ohlord:




Will mention as well.

Sammy Watkins from 2011. IMO The old Miami staff screwed that one up. The kid was on with the idea of playing with Dallas in college and Randy didn't want to extend Dallas a committable offer and he committed to Michigan at the time and Watkins ended up with Clemson. Golden and the new staff came on board and tried to salvage 2011 and offered Dallas late in the game. By then it was very late.

Golden is very good evaluator and recruiter. If he just gets a couple of good defensive coaches.; starting with a new DC

I guess its just crazy cause everyone that seen Loftus play whether its in person or on the field wondered why in the **** would we take him, but Gosier gets the scissors. As far as Fines goes him being signed here and being the only dt signed so far is on AG cause he should get the scissors as well. He may be the only DT signed here but truth be told its a ton of DTs signed elsewhere to smaller schools or undecided that would jump on an UM offer that are better than fines. To end this DT class, Golden needs to evade DTs signed to smaller schools are go after DTs that are looking just trying to find somewhere to ball. Its just really all about evaluation.
