I, sir, am I lover of rye. Cheers to you!Just picked a bottle of Silver Springs Sweet Rye. Incredible bottle for rye lovers out there.
I want to see us play ND every year. I'm talking tactics.is it up to him?
acc has a scheduling agreement with ND
we didnt go out and schedule with them right?
We've come full circle to how Bama et al used to end the season ranked high.I know we talk about playing anybody anywhere anytime, but at this point.. why bother?
Indiana's non conference schedule is:
Old Dominion (FCS)
Kennesaw State (Con USA)
Indiana State (FCS)
For their conference schedule, they will have played the bottom 5 teams in the B1G standings and 8 of the bottom 10.
They also beat 6th place, 6-4 Iowa by 5 points.
They are getting into the playoff because they played a joke non conference schedule and a weak conference schedule and had one good win (Oregon).
Scheduling weak opponents and running it up against them is somehow a viable strategy for getting into the playoff.
Bama's placement will tell us all we need to know. If they drop Bama below ND its over for us unless bama loses to auburn. That's why I keep saying we'll know a lot tonight if we jump Vandy or not.
If we do jump Vandy, I think the committee is wanting us to get close enough to put us in front of ND where they know we belong if we have the same record.
We won't jump Utah since they also had a big win this weekend.
The best thing for the committee to do is let us both in at 9/10 but that would mean dropping:
Utah
Vandy
BYU
And hoping one of: Oregon, Bama, or OU loses again.
Also, we could get within 3 of ND tonight if:
OU jumps ND and Bama also stays ahead of ND.
That would drop ND back to 10 and we'd move up to 13 of we jump Texas and Vandy.
Yeah, I probably posted this in the wrong thread earlier today, but I’ve been thinking about all the ESPN conflicts of interest with the CFP Committee and summarized it in this post:CFP committee crooked as ****. Their meeting like when Don Corleone met with the heads of the 5 families.
I’m not going to argue against Lane in favor of Mario. However, I am starting to think that Lane doesn’t have a harder path to the playoffs than Mario, given what we are seeing. If the SEC is getting so many more spots in the CFP, and the ACC is struggling to even get one, is...Oh good lord, again, Lane is in the SEC at Ole Miss with a way harder path than Mario at Miami the past to seasons in the pathetic ACC. As soon as I get a good usable image for you, as your avatar isn’t ideal for this, you are going in the Passover dinner here amongst the St. CoRchibal purists.

This particular ND home-and-home series of games are not through the ACC. UM and ND scheduled them alone.is it up to him?
