MEGA There’s Still Hope for the ACCCG/CFB Playoffs Mega Merge Thread

FanDuel odds are moving against us and Notre Dame.

We're now at +680. Notre Dame at -260.

BYU hasn't moved.

Texas is at +420. WTF. That should be free money.
 
Been saying this for awhile, games this weekend will still matter.

Miami also needs to earn an edge against Alabama and BYU -- two teams the committee has deemed better than Miami to this point. If both of those teams lose their respective conference championship games, it would open the door for Miami to possibly enter the 12-team field with Notre Dame.

Texas, a 9-3 team, that finished the 2nd half of the season:

-3 point win over 5-7 Kentucky
-7 point win over 5-7 Miss St
-3 point win over Vandy
-25 point loss to UGA
-Gave up 37 points to 2-10 Arkansas
-Beat Texas A&M

Is going to suddenly make the playoffs? So close games against bad teams and bad losses don't matter now? Now it's about the one quality win?

Oklahoma gets a pass for losing to Texas by 17 with an injured Mateer but Texas also gets a boost for beating Oklahoma with an injured Mateer?

If this happened this would be nuclear. Texas is far behind all these teams in the metrics that are apparently important. This would be them literally just doing what they want.

There’s no way this happens, the movement in Vegas makes no sense. I refuse to believe it.
