MEGA There’s Still Hope for the ACCCG/CFB Playoffs Mega Merge Thread

Dinich was on sportscenter going through different conference championship scenarios, believes we still have a shot if both Bama and BYU lose, mainly because this 3 loss bama would also have the worst loss of any of the top teams and she thinks 10-2 Miami vs 10-3 Bama is a real discussion for the committee.

Not a fan of hers but it’s the first time I’ve seen an espn talking head give us a shot to get in even if we’re still outside the top 10 in tonight’s rankings.

BYU gets dropped if they lose to TTU again. i cant see them dropping bama for losing the sec game

Clark Lea can **** straight off.

Vanderbilt isn't even the "next SEC team up", Texas is.

How dare this Dollar Store Mr. Clean lecture everyone on whether NON-SEC 2-loss teams like Notre Dame and Miami and UVa and Utah "deserve" to be included in the CFP field.

Yes, a Vanderbilt team whose SIGNATURE ACCOMPLISHMENT is beating an 8-4 Tennessee team that (as documented earlier in this thread) has beaten NOBODY GOOD this year.

After that massive accomplishment, what else has Vanderpump done this year?

Emerged victorious against 8-4 Missouri
Won against a 7-5 LSU team
Defeated a 5-7 Auburn
Defeated a 5-7 Kentucky
Beaten a 4-8 South Carolina squad

Oh, and how about that OOC schedule?

Beat Virginia Tech (so did Miami)
Beat Charleston Southern
Beat Georgia State
Beat Utah State

Meanwhile, Miami's OOC slate included Notre Dame, Florida, and USF.

Vanderpump Rules has ZERO quality victories.

Sorry, but if any team aces Vandy out of the CFP field, it will be Texas. Who beat Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans head-to-head.

Hey! You show some respect for Vandy!

Shes a mongoloid meat shield ESPN throws out there to protect the committee. She's almost as insufferable as Mina Kimes.

FanDuel odds and HardRock odds have not changed at all since this morning
+540 and +450 respectively (15-20%)
I'll be curious to see if there is any movement between 6 and 7 EST

FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST GET US IN THE DANCE

These ESPN graphics on playoff chances are baffling. They showed one during the UM game that said UM has like a 16% chance to make the playoff with a WIN. And in this Texas/Georgia game, it said UT has a 27% chance with a LOSS. So let me get this straight—a 7-3 Texas with A&M left on the schedule is twice as likely to make the playoff as an 8-2 Miami?
Let’s face reality, the CFP is no less impartial than the AP and Coaches Polls deciding who plays where and how you’re ranked. If Duke wins, Texas is in and the ACC will have no teams in the CFP. The whole thing is a farce and just shows head to head wins don’t matter and that the idiots in charge value a quality loss more than a quality win when UM is at the center of the conversation. Before this whole event is set in stone, 6-7 SEC teams may be in the playoffs.

They aren't going to put 6 SEC teams in the playoffs, no matter how deserving Vandy might be. That would make half the field SEC, which would be a joke. Really they shouldn't have more than 4.
The elitist SEC just need to do their own thing
Good luck
Missing out on the NCAA tournament college world series
They can air their sec vs sec volleyball tournament on their channel ESPCNN

Texas is in IMO regardless of what the ACC does...

Texas has no shot
