I readily admit I’m being soft shouldered regarding our playoff chances. I feel good about beating Pitt, but not everything else lining up.

That’s totally fair. You can keep your man card if you say **** like that. “I think we’re gonna win, but we need help and I don’t love the chances”. Totally rational.

It’s understood in the CFP relationship and Texas is dominate and CFP is submissive .
There’s only one team that rains supreme over Texas and that’s Notre Dame

Just the sound of ND and or the sight of there helmet ( not the male organ ) that brings moisture to CFP loins.

This is why T beating TAM brought firmness to CFP lower unit.
 
I think we win, but definitely not confident in other factors falling the way we’ll need it.

I already said if Miami can’t win the ACC, I want it to be Duke so the ACC doesn’t get anyone in. I’d like to add to that I would hope BYU beats TT in their championship game so both get in so the Big 12 can legit pass up the ACC as the clear cut #3 conference.

But my preferred option is Miami gets to the ACCCG and wins and also get crazy drama with everyone else. But when was the last time we didnt have to worry about crazy drama? 2001?
 
Texas is not getting in. And if they are, it's because there were 4 or 5 losses in front of them. Which means we'd be getting in too (as long as we win).

To lose

And maybe Oregon too

Oregon could drop out because they don't have a head to head win they have to stay in front of besides USC.
 
Another thing about the iron bowl: auburn has an interim coach. You can expect them to go for it on 4th downs, run fake punts, throw the whole kitchen sink. This is the one we need.
 
Who's planning to watch football all day?

Literally all 3 most relevant games for us for an at large bid are on ABC back to back to back.

12pm- Miami (-6.5) at Pitt
330pm- LSU (+11.5) at Oklahoma
730pm- Alabama (-4.5) at Auburn

Hopefully we win and look good doing it so the next 2 games matter.
 
I also expect our Louisville loss to continue to look worse.

Miller Moss likely back today, but ALL FOUR scholarship backs the have are out, they’re starting a true freshman walk-on at RB, but no worries, Brohm is smart and he’ll just throw. What’s that? Oh Chris Bell is out and Caulin Lacy is iffy at best. LOL.

Kentucky is down to +1.5.
