The Work (Post Pittsburgh)

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the update.

This administration does not care about the football program.

I feel sorry for any kid currently committed to this ****** football program.

As long as Al Golden is the CEO, their talent will be wasted.

They will never beat FSU.

They will never win the Coastal.

They will never win the ACC.

They will never play in January.

They will be consistently thrown under the bus.

They will underachieve, lose to teams they have no business losing to.

They will be ill-equipped for the pro level.

Fck OP talking about scapegoating assistants. Get your mind right, son. Don't continue to do everyone a disservice by yapping about assistant corches.

This is like your house being engulfed flames and asking for a ******* garden hose to put it out.

Bunch of ******* idiots in charge at Miami.

Am I the only one who saw this thread and checked to see how many "likes" there were for the OP before reading? Only saw two and knew there wouldn't be good news about Golden.

Legitimately fearful that this administration is really going to bring him back.

OP doesn't know **** about this situation luckily. Unfortunately, he's guessing, but he's doing it on a very touchy subject.

As long as Golden is here, it doesn't matter how many coaches he throws under the bus! It was the same with Coker, and Shannon. Firing asst. coaches only prolongs the inevitable!
Someone please put Al out of his misery!

The 2015 class will likely fall apart after bowl season. Wait until every team out there has a good story to tell about the 2015 season, except for UM. NE and UF will have new coaching staffs. FSU will have a top 5 finish, a handful of SEC schools will have good stories to tell. ****, even UCF will have a better story to tell than us.

These kids committed because they thought UM was back. Now they're going to see that UM is 6-7.

While firing the whole lot makes all the sense in the world, this administration is not working for the same objective we are. Therefore any thing is possible. They could kept Al and force some firings, or just kept the whole bunch just as easy as firing them. Logic and reason left the campus long ago. IF Al had a brain cell, HE would fire whole defensive staff except Ice. Then he would hire Butch frigging Davis as DC and turn it over to him. That would quiet most of the lynch mob and guy him two more years. Letting Butch take on at least the defensive recruiting would make huge difference. Butch would not be HC and that might be enough to get him pass administration. Nobody is giving Butch a HC shot, so I figure he would take it. I don't think an assistant jib would get the ncaa all upset. Then the most damage Al could do would be with his horrible ST coaching.

IMO the likeliest outcome is that he stays and fires a bunch of people, including Dorito. He has to make big changes no matter what. As it is he has nothing left to sell recruits.

How is this guy going to function without D'No? He can't manage adjustments at halftime let alone canning someone he has had a relationship with his whole adult life, let alone other staff changes. People assume he makes changes he's forced to make, and hires more competent people, and it gets better. A tenuous assumption at best.
