The Work: Jeudy, Donaldson, and much more

I think one people are overlooking is that Kaaya might want to leave because of the way the fans treated him this season. He was attacked heavily for his play (rightfully so), but we know Kaaya is a soft-shouldered dude, I'm sure seeing all that criticism affected him.

It would tie in to Pete's point of him not really being involved in recruiting the next class as well

They probably don't want to confuse recruits one way or the other. No need in introduce uncertainty into the recruiting trip.

I actually feel like Kaaya leaving is a blessing in disguise. As I understand it, all 5 guys who would be in the competition (Rosier, Allison, Shireffs, Weldon, and Perry) will be on campus for spring practice and through the summer. Realistically, 2018 is our year. I'm certainly not giving up on next season but having a QB with a full season of experience under his belt will be even better for the run in 2018.

Don't sleep on Malik.

I agree that Kaaya would benefit from another year in college. That said, it is a very light year for QB's coming out of college. What's more, the League is starved for QB prospects. Just think, Brock Osweiler signed a $72 million contract this past March. Brock Osweiler. $72 million.

Brad is not ready. He needs to develop better footwork, overall strength (especially lower body), and from a leadership stand-point. He's not ready to lead grown men, and would likely need a year or two as back-up before he steps in. That would be the best thing for him

Kaaya would be making a disastrously bad decision to leave. He's got so much he can work on to improve his stock.

He should listen to disinterested people before making the move. They would tell him he's got a ton he can do to improve his stock. Sometimes, people can get in an insulated little bubble and not get exposed to the truth.

My man, he has had 3 years to work on those things and it hasn't translated to any sign of an improvement going into year 4.

He had 2 years to build upon a very good frosh season and he stood in quick sand. The things you say he could fine tune should've been evident this year.

The guy went from a sure fire 1st rd QB at the start of the season by some. Too needing to return just so he can get better than perhaps a 4th rd or later grade.

Kaaya's only NFL attribute is making those 15 yard out throws to the sidelines. Everything else he does is either average or below. Why in the **** is he rushing to become a 3rd string QB in the league?

Thought he was smarter than this...

Hahaha. Those opposite field sideline throws always trigger a Pavlovian Response in the broadcast teams to start gushing over Kaaya as a NFL QB. Congemi alone gets moist at the mere mention of them. While I don't necessarily agree with your average or below assessment of everything else, I too expected him (and his circle) to be smarter and more patient.

His biggest problem was avoiding sacks. If he had better pocket-awareness this season and was able to put the ball in play or throw it away, we win more games and are in ACCCG, along with him legitimately being a potential first or second round pick. That's the most disturbing part of his assessment besides lacking leadership and mobility.

If he wants to leave bc the fans treated him badly this year when he played badly (and tbh, he really wasn't savaged that badly), then he's soft as baby **** and even more of a front running/camp-circuit/private-QB-tutor baby than initially thought. He will never succeed w that attitude, and if he think we were bad, just wait to he gets to one of his (likely) landing spots with the bears or J-E-T-S.

This bad qb stats. 61% 3250yards 23tds 7ints. Thats with struggling in this new offense and having **** to work on. You are a fool if you think this guy wont be missed. If he leaves allison or rosier will have that type of production.

35/63 437yds 2td 1int against FSU and UNC. He sacked himself 6 of the 8 sacks against VT and padded his stats at the end when it didn't matter.

3 of the 4 teams worth anything he **** the bed against. Pitt has the worst defense in the ACC.

I'm glad the dude can pad his stats against Appy State and Duke.

You dont pad 3k yards vs 2 teams. And who is unc supposed to be? They were 8-4 too.

Are you saying UNC isn't that great either? That helps my case.

From ANOS--
"Sunday that he spent much of his visit bonding with other prospects like Top100 offensive tackle Navaughn Donaldson and Alabama five-star wide receivers commit Jerry Jeudy.
"I had a lot of fun," Burns said.
"I would have to say that the people were the one thing that really stood out to me. I'm excited about this class and the coaching staff. I think we're moving in the right direction."
Burns arrived on campus Friday. He went to work right away on trying to make sure that Donaldson remains committed to Hurricanes despite late pushes from both Florida and Florida State.
"Trust me, he's staying home," Burns said. "

Any qb in cfb can get those stats against the teams we beat on our schedule. You all give him so much hype for padding stats against unranked teams like no other qb we have recruited could possibly carry this team to an 8-5 season lol at least next season won't be so predictable with a new qb

No any qb couldnt. It will be predictable next year with a new qb because the team wont win 8 games. And im not hyping him at all but he **** sure is better than whats on the roster.

Lol it is not that serious we could win 8 games on our schedule with Kevin Olsen @ QB. We have never been close to a 10 win season with Kaaya so why do you think he's so special that he can't be replaced?

Any qb on our roster can lose to below average to above average teams like this years FSU VT UNC and Notre Dame teams like the "best of them"

Devonta update? Lsu fans think he's in the bag for bama. Haven't heard a peep on him...

Kaaya leaving would be a very poor decision on his part, but we'll survive. Kid is not a game changer, hope Allison wins the job.
