Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes are currently preparing for a huge ACC road test this upcoming Saturday in South Carolina to take on the Dabo Swinney's Clemson Tigers.

Miami is currently sitting at a perfect 4-0 record after cruising through the Stanford Cardinal, FAMU Rattlers, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and the Central Michigan Chippewas.

So far this season, offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson has the offense putting up video-game-type numbers. The Hurricanes average a total of 51.8 points per game, ranking as the third-highest in the country, while also recording 588.8 yards per outing.

It just seems like no matter what a defense does, it cannot slow down the Hurricanes’ offense. However, the Clemson Tigers will take a swing at doing so.

The Tigers are currently riding high on a three game winning-streak after losing to LSU 51-10 during Week 1. The Tigers defense gave up a total of 644 yards of offense. Yet, the defense soon responded to the loss by not allowing a second-half touchdown in 20 consecutive drives over their last three games.

They are currently giving up a total of 372.2 yards per game. However, if you remove the LSU game, they're only giving up 282 yards per outing, which would rank 31st in total defense in the country.

Starting safety Corey Myrick leads the Tigers' defense with 35 total tackles and one pass deflection. He recorded 10 tackles against LSU and 11 against North Carolina. Defensive end Will Heldt provides pressure off the edge, recording 12 tackles and four sacks. Cornerback Ashton Hampton has been a dominant presence for the Tigers' defense, leading them with seven pass deflections and six tackles.

The Hurricanes will try to exploit the Tigers' weakness in stopping the run. The Tigers give up a total of 157.8 yards on the ground and a lethal 6.3 yards per carry. Starting running back Mark Fletcher is expected to be back for Saturday's game against Clemson.

Miami signal-caller Darian Mensah gets the team going on the offensive end. He has been putting on a clinic for Hurricanes fans, recording 1,211 passing yards for 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions. The Tigers defense gives up a total of 214.8 yards per outing, ranking 79th in the country. They also only give up 6.0 yards per pass attempt.
